Greanpeace!

I didn't actually state to begin with it was Solely americas fault. I assumed you knew I was referring to America and Britain, but apparently not so sorry about that.

So now you're pulling the whole "Britain sucks" routine I see, and if I'm honest, I don't care. I'm not patriotic, I despise the idea of imperialism and the fact I am in some way related to the people who thought it was a good idea. I know why the civil war is being fought, because we killed the dictator that repressed the different sects from lashing out at each other, which was my point to begin with, we were the ones that sparked the civil war by removing Saddam from power.

Well next time clarify, plx. And why the fuck did you think I'd assume you lumped Britain in with America? America has done 90% of the shit in the invasion.

And nobody said Britain sucks. Their decision way back when to put Shi'ites and Sunnis together in the same country sucked, but that was a few people who did that, not the entire country. God, you're putting shit in our mouths now when you always accuse others of doing that to you.

And like Eryth said, the civil war sentiment has been there for a long time. A civil breakdown was inevitable.

Well done, I already said I knew that.

This is beside the point, the Civil War is currently waging, and we're not doing much to stop it, apart from being "Peacekeeping forces" which is ironic seeing as we went there in the begining to start a war. Peacekeeping forces which don't seem to be doing any good.

Well...if you already knew it, then you wouldn't be saying that the Iraqi civil war is America's fault. It was destined to happen, with or without outside intervention.

We went there to wage a war on the Baathist government and Saddam Hussein, not Iraq as a country. Both are out of power now.

Aye, I hate the fact that we're still over there, it's a waste of lives. I say jus pull everyone out, and let those morons kill each other.

And by morons, I'm not bashing Iraqis as a whole either. By morons I mean anyone stupid enough to fight over religion.

I said "our" fault, just to be picky. We sparked the civil war, it'd have happened anyway I Agree, but it happened now because we killed Saddam and left the country more ruinous than it was before.

I know what you mean by morons, I agree in a certain sense. However what about the innocent people who get killed by said morons.

Jesus Christ, you almost sound like you WANT to take credit for it. America has done most of the stuff over there, the amount of troops Britain has sent over is minuscule compared to the amount of American troops.

No, you're 14, you don't. And I'm not saying that to sound mean either, it's just a simple fact that anyone at that young of an age doesn't have a good grasp on concepts or the world. The mind is still developing and is being affected by all those nasty hormones that crop up during the teenage years. I guarantee you that five years from now you'll be thinking differently. You might still be a hippie, but you will be a more informed one with a better grasp on how things work and you'll be able to think with a more developed brain. It happens to everyone, it's simply the human brain developing.

lol and i bet you know so much more i assume... so what if hes 14 lol im 18 and i bet he knows enough to state his own opinion so leave him alone

He doesn't appear to know better, he seems to just really repeat whatever someone else says or agrees with them to give the impression that he knows better. The rest of the time he talks complete shite.

I think VR was just saying that at 14, you're much more naive and idealistic because you don't quite know how the world works when you're that young. I was a lot more idealistic at that age; I've changed quite a bit. With knowledge and experience comes a certain skepticism. You get jaded.

I don't think he was saying that he shouldn't have an opinion because he's 14. He was just saying that because he's 14, he's not as worldly, knowledgable, or experienced as someone older.

This thread is so full of valid points that I'm tempted to move it to the debate section. >.<

Bingo. It's not a slam on being 14, it's just that at the early teenage years people aren't as learned about the world and how things work, plus hormones affect the thinking too. With years comes experience. I'm 20 now, I'm more experienced and know more about how things works than a 14 year old or 16 year old. And someone 10 years older than me will know more than I do. That's the way things work.

Of course some things you can only chalk up to maturity, and some people mature alot faster than others (like AG, he act's alot older than he really is).

WTF has happened to my once beautiful thread? I leave for two days, and look what happens! You should all be ashamed, this thread was purely just for me bragging me joining Greenpeace

You spelt the name wrong, made it in the spam thread and you expect it to be lovely and wonderful???
