Think you have all the magic spells? You might be wrong... When fighting Ultemicia, you must wait until her 4th form. Have one character have the DRAW ability equipped. Now, before Ultemicia does, "Draw Apocalypse", or when she does, you can draw "Draw Apocalypse" from her second Ultemecia too! At first, I thought this was just another move she did. (Such as Shockwave Pulsar) But it is actually a magic, and an interesting one at that. If you are that far in the game, and are willing to check out this cool magic, go try it sometime!
 
Shit, you for real? If true, that's actually pretty interesting. I don't know anything about FFVIII but that would be pretty sweet if that were the case.
 
Yeah you have to draw it to use it though, you can't store it. It does about 3000 damage which isn't too bad for a final fight, but it only appears when a certain part of her body casts it I think. It looks cool, but I only used it once.
 
I thought that was pretty common knowledge to be honest. It's a magic spell, and so therefore can be drawn and used. :monster:
I'm not entirely sure about this, but couldn't you get it through the card and item refining method? I think I saw something about that in the guide once...
 
I remember that part in the battle. Yeah, I kept Drawing that spell and triple cast it through the rest of the battle.
 
yea i thought it was common knowledge myself for those that made it that far into the game. Didnt use it in the final fight cause i had Squall use Lionheart over and over and Quitis using her raybomb with Zell healing the two if nessacary. I was mad when Rinoa wasnt put in but those three didnt doe once and i took them down.
 
I loved The Apocalypse magic it was really powerful, and i loved the animation for it! ^_^
wow SC, you used Squall Quistis and Rinoa as your main party too? when the battle started i just let the charas i didn't want in the battle die lol
 
Maybe this is why the final battle was so impossible for me? xD I had no idea that was there. I lost all my junctioned magic in like the 3rd battle. This game was so damn difficult for me lol

Yep, I did know this, but since it's at the very end, it's kinda pointless to draw or want to use in my opinion. Overall though, it is a cool spell with cool animation.

Lol... Yeah, I hated how it randomly chose 3 characters out of the party to start the battle. I did the same thing though, let the one's I didn't want die. >_<
 
Aww why did you tell everyone instead of letting them find out themselves! Just give a little hint or something next time for fun:P
I already know this because i test everything at a game every time i beat it...:D
 
I used an xploder cheat cd and i could use apocalypse along with all sephies limit breaks as magic ^_^
Apocalypse also changes the battle screen position which can get annoying.
Also when you junction it to yourself it has even better effects than ultima which may mean that they were originally going to have it as a magic outside of the final boss.
 
i admit i used an xploder to get the debug room and got 100 apocalypse and get level 100 with max stats

its amazing how weak apocalypse is though :P

note to all, never use debug to win
 
I already knew about that spell but I don't think I ever bothered to draw it from Ultimecia because it wasn't really worth it in my opinion. The game was nearly over anyway so I didn't see the point. It may have been powerful but I don't think it would have been worth losing a turn over just drawing it from her. It probably is a cool spell though, I'm just lazy. :P
 
3000 damage is nothing compared to a nice lionheart (espically if you do the trick to help get lion heart much more often )

Awww, using cheats for Final Fantasy is no fun. You have to play it right, that's the funnest way to play.

Ahhh... I'm listening to Final Fantasy 8 Music (Fisherman's Horizon at the moment)... so soothing^_^
