no matter how many times i see aeris die i always end up crying about it with the music and the whole aspect of aeris being dead just makes me cry no matter how many times i see it happen

You seriously cry? XD. It's sad, yeah. Damn.

Anywho, Seeing Aeris die is quite sad. I do feel bad after it happens. haha. That's just one less person I have to level up though.

yeah i am naturally sensitive and for some reason i cry over computer game characters dying more than human beings die

Haha. Wow, dude. =p.

Anywho, she was a very important character to the story. Seeing her die was painful yet...it was bittersweet. Now Cloud can have Tifa!

yeah but he never had feelings for her beyond friendship and i doubt cloud would go for tifa straight after aeris dies

well since we all know he doesn't like tifa, we already understand that aeris dying doesn't give her anymore of a chance with him. anyway i didn't cry but it was a very sad scene. probably the most sad scene in the entire series IMO.

for quite a while and probably still is rated the saddest scene to ever come on a playstation game

Okay, Okay...maybe not with Tifa. =/

I was quite depressed for awhile. Especially because I lost my white mage. That was soooo lame.

I don't get the big deal! I am a really sensetive person, but I didn't cry when I first saw it, I was a little upset, yeah, but it would never reduce me to tears. However FF games do bring out emotions in me. At the end of KH2 I almost cried and the end of FF10 brought a tear to my eye. But those were also me being sad that I no longer have FF 10 to look forward to on my way home from school.

If nothing else, watching Aeris die over and over again never stopped me smiling.

Sadistic, sure, but I don't see how anyone could possibly get upset by it. Watching such a feeble character finally get what's coming to her... it was to be expected.

It is definately sad, and I know a couple of people who have actually cried at it, but I can't say I'm one of them...
I can see how it gets to people though, really is one of the saddest scene's in playstation history!

man aeris dying just wasnt a big deal at all i certainly wouldnt cry:)
i just thought ''ah well the bitch is dead'':D

The death certainly was emotional, but I never cried.
I felt like I was going to though, even though I was a little whiny 9 year old. :P

I was young at the time too. haha. So, I kinda felt bad. I never cried though. I seen it coming eventually.

That was the most emotional part in the game for me when she died:sad2:.I didnt cried though i just felt a little bad about not saving before she died.

My friend finished with his girlfriend when she interrupted this scene. It made her cry.

what i want to know is why didnt cloud stop sephiroth?

he didnt even move until sephiroth took his sword out her back

*damn you cloud!*

i know why she was there and a spoiler about her ribbon. She was praying because she was thinking of a idea to stop sephiroth. She knew that she would have to sacarfice herself to summon the holy. Her real mom Ifalana put white materia that can take the force field off of sephiroth in her bow. You know when cloud takes out his sword runs to Aeris trys to kill her its because sephiroth was controlling him the whole time even when sephiroth killed Aeris .Thats why he didnt do a single thing.
