Cheating is quite rampant in the world's classrooms, I have to say.
In fact, I knew about 20 'top' students in my grade level caught cheating, though obviously there are many more.

So, have any of you ever cheated on tests and whatnot?

I won't lie. I haven't seriously cheated.
More like, I stopped myself before I actually committed the act.
Seriously.

Yeah I cheated, but it wasnt a real exam or anything... it was one of those "individual" works in the classroom. But as soon as the teacher popped out of the classroom for a few moments, it turned into a temporary group activity...

Lol I cheated this one time, yeah. The test was the same test we had the previous day, and I knew that beforehand since I know how this one particular teacher makes his test. So I wrote the numbers and letters on the palm of my hands (we were allowed to take the paper home to study for the next "exact same" test.")

1) a
2) d
3) c

And so on.

Clever and ingenious, you guys, mm hmm

Seriously though, what you said is like, probably some of the most common methods....like the one Clyde said, group activities happen all the time, but that's just because the teacher trusts us too much =\
I mean, where's the gratefulness.

On tests? I can safely say I haven't, for fear of being caught. I know, I know, it's one of my pet peeves. As far as cheating on women, I'm afraid to admit that yes, I have.

We cheat everyday,

using papers to put in our pockets and stuff, helping your friends,...

we also uses our TI84 calculators to put in formulas and stuff, it's convenient to have a calculator where you can storage quite some things in and are able to write letters on haha

We do it all the time haha

i have never cheated but i never revise for anything and i seem to do better than all my classmates surprisingly enough so i have no reason to cheat

if you copy other peoples work they might have their stuff wrong that is how copying can really backfire...

lol, yeah, I agree FFGuy.

I try to write my letters on tests and whatnot in an indecipherable code, it's so hard to read backwards!

I've had teachers encourage me to cheat before.
And not just me; anyone who was having trouble understanding, the teachers would encourage us to do whatever it took to pass...

I even had a teacher who let us work on tests and quizes together in groups...and allow us to copy each other's homework before class...

I was one of the people who would seldom (seldom, but still) cheat off of my friends, and let my friends cheat off of me, but...
Looking back, I wish I hadn't have done that. It probably did me more damage than good.

Notice that america's youth is stupider...yes stupider than the rest of the world...

Yes, I cheated. In 9th grade I sat next to my earth science teacher desk. I didn't mean to sit there, my class had assigned seats. He always had the answers right on top of his desk. Of course, I always peaked over. XD

I actually read an article about that in Reader's Digest...

I know quite a few teachers who actually do the same exact thing, thank goodness I'm with the good teachers.
I wouldn't have taken it well if I had been caught or even just cheating.

*Gasp* *Shock* I'm surprised, miss! J/j, it happens to the best of us. I dunno, as far as I'm concerned, I'm STILL deathly afraid of getting caught, though...

The thing is, I guess it's just that 'thrill' of not getting caught that drives people to cheat, if that makes sense.

agreed lol that happened to me, he was the new kid every1 thought he was really smart but he was a idiot and like yea back fired.

Every1 cheats in history class because our teacher falls asleep  i've done it 3 or 5 times because its just so eazzzyyyyyyyy u know:cool:

I know I've sneaked peeks at a Teachers' cheat sheet if it was in plain view at times; that's just their dumb fault of leaving it out in the open. I've never taken credit for someone else's work though, or kept the answers for a test in my pocket.

I've had teachers actually lay the answers down on a desk in the front of the class for students to "check" their own answers...

Ridiculous...

Some teachers give out a 'practice test' and we only find out that it's the exact same test that we'll be taking the day after.
I have no idea why they do that.

Speaking of teachers encouraging their students to cheat, I highly find that annoying. It's not fair for the others who actually did study. (Ahem, this coming from someone who cheated a few times, but still). A few weeks ago we had our first art test (slides) and the projector went off. Old teacher told us to go ahead and open our text book and continue studying while he tries to find out how to fix the projector. Ridiculous. I saw some of the students looking for the answers and it just really irked me.

So yeah, I'm against cheating on tests now. :)

I've cheated on a test before. Me and my best mate at the time were the dumbest of dumbest people back then.

We wrote all the answers on our arms like they do in the movies and one of our mates dobbed us in. =0 This was in year 12 and we were so lucky they let us do another test to sort of make up for it. >_<

That was my first time and last time cheating due to the fact we got caught. I'm glad we did get caught though, otherwise who knows what kind of person I'd be now. It really isn't worth it. =/
