I propose a weird question to you all! o_O

Do you feel like you know members of this FF community personally, even if you haven't really met them in real life?

I can't really say much, being relatively new here, but how about you all?
 
I know most of you... I have this database which tells me what time people leave there homes, where they work, what shows they watch on TV, what they had for breakfast etc...





hehe nah seriously I feel like I know some people here already based on there posts... If they post something decent and nice, then I believe it reflects there personality in real life... I dunno
 
But of course, the thing is, people are probably way way different in real life.
Like me :P

I never 'talk' this much in real life.

Yep, I know quite a few people here and I've gotten close with several members here. I could say we're actually real friends, even if we haven't met in real life. Their posts, whether it be intellectual, funny, dumb, creative...reflects some of their personalities, although I know you shouldn't be too gullible sometimes.

But I met a lot of awesome people here, and I'm sure they know who they are. ;)

I don't mean the convention, by the way, but I really rather would and finally know you on a much more personal level than what we are on the forums.

I feel like I've gotten to know a few of the member here somewhat personally, but obviously nothing like an everyday face to face scenario.

I'd probably know them a whole lot better if I'd chat more, but I'm usually a quite person and boring like that. Unless I get started on a topic. :D

No worries, more than half the forum is right there with you ;).

IMO, no, I don't really know anybody on the forums. And my friends (those of you who are my friends, you know who you are) please don't take this the wrong way, but you just can't trust you know someone well enough over the internet. I mean, I know of you, and I know what you want me to know, but I don't know it all. And of course the same can be said for me.

That being said, I just want to reassure my friends that I do consider you to be my friends, just as real as the friends I have in real life. I just don't think I know you, is all. :D

I know quite a lot of members, including myself and now you, who are quiet.
I dunno what makes me post here and why it does, but all I know is that I feel quite at home here.
So maybe that's what it is.

Yeh, I agree to an extent about the friends stuff.
You never know, 'cause we all know we're different people in real life, no matter how much we pretend to not be online.
It's just a truth.
I am the complete opposite, so imagine me that.

No way, get the F outta here! Online, you're like a well mannered, friendly, honest and upstanding guy. So, by your logic, that would make you a rude, unfriendly, dishonest and dirty dude! I just can't imagine that!

BTW, the few people whom I consider my friend... You're one of 'em.

All right then, not 'completely', more like, opposite in demeanor.
By that I mean in the way I express my opinion. =\
I rarely ever do in real life.

Now, as for the avy, I'm the complete opposite in that area.
I'm fugly. -_-

Oh, ok. Now I see your point of view. But as far as expressing your opinions go, you really should speak up more in real life. You've got some interesting thoughts, and I'm sure your peoples would appreciate hearing them.

Ive met some pretty decent people on this site and I do see them as friends and would want to meet them all someday. Its bizzare making friends online, but its fun and easier also.
 
i feel like i know people on here but i know i most likely have never met them in real life....
 
I'm not much more confident online as I am off, but I think that helped with me meeting/getting to know some of the people I... now... know. >.>

I'm not exactly friendly about the forums, so no one would really have warmed up to me, with the exception of Mitsuki. She seemed to like 'me,' rather than the 'typical' side which makes fun of everyone. That was nice of her. ;p

I know one or two things about a few people's lives, so in that sense I know them personally, but not on any majorly friendly levels. I get on with some people... and that's all I've ever done. Never made really good friends with anyone online.





I might consider it a pity if I cared. xD
