Okay, so how many languages do you speak?

I speak 2, working on 3, and hoping to learn some more. ;)

If you are learning, then what languages would you want to learn and why?

I'd learn French just for the heck of it, and then German, and then Japanese.
The latter two because I'm planning on going into the engineering field possibly for those two countries.

I speak English, but I've been studying Spanish for four years and hope to continue to study it so I can become 'fluent.' After that I'd like to try and learn more languages.

Well English is my native tounge so that's a given. I also speak German pretty well, but I haven't bothered with it in a while. And I know how to count to ten and as for 'beers please' in two other languages; Japanese and French.
I've always wanted to learn Russian though. It's probably the only language that I really want to learn.

English, Russian, Latin, Spanish, Lithuanian, Japineese, Lativian, Italian, Al Bhed and I can also uderstand Egyptian Hyrogliphics ^ ^ = 10!

1 1/2. English obviously, but I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, and a half year of it in College. That half year in college I learned more than those 4 years in HS. I can piece things together, but it's hardly understandable.

I speak English, I took Spanish in high school, but i'm less than good at it, and I know just a very little bit of Japanese, but I want to learn more.

Wait, are you serious?
If so, then I applaud you.

I'm working on learning a crudload of languages myself

Spanish, I tried 2 years, I can make lengthy sentences, I can understand the grammar, but I don't know much of the vocab. But I can speak it somewhat.
So I quit teh class. xD

I speak two languages, and I can kinda speak Spanish, but very little, as I have mostly forgotten what I've learned back in high school. (Don't you just hate that?)

I would like to learn Japanese though. I know a few words/phrases though, so it's something, I guess. Now, if I can only be committed and actually try to learn it...

I wonder what that second one would be?

Lol, well since we're on the subject...sige, testing nga tayo. I also tend to actually speak "Taglish"...where I would speak in English and then switch to Tagalog and then English again. For instance, "Hey Jerms, alam mo ba when I was last visiting home, nakita ko yung mga family ko and I was extremely happy, as in ang saya-saya!"

Yep, that's usually the trend now back in the Philippines, I've noticed.

Actually, I thought the new craze was txt msging.

I mean:

Sge nga, lts meet sa mol {mall} K! Buti nmn.

Or something like that.
{Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na nakakasalita ka pa ng Tagalog, Suki! xD}
~I still can't believe you can talk Tagalog, Suki! xD~

I speak Spanish and English fluently. I spoke Spanish until I was in kindergarten because my mom is from Chile. I learned English fast. This is why I'm terrible at writing and at proper grammar. >_< Also, I can't write very well in Spanish.

Three of my friends are taking Japanese. I was thinking about learning Japanese, but I'm more interested in learning German.

Oh yeah, texting...gotta love it. Hah, and yeah of course I still speak the language. I know there's others out there that choose to forget it or at least pretend that they don't understand it anymore due to the oh so many years that they've spent here in the U.S...but not me. :D I'm proud to still know my language.

And Sever Off, =O Really? :worried:

O.k. sorry for spamming.

But I never took German I just grew up around alot of it and kinda picked up on how to understand it. Its wierd when your around alot of people that speak a different language you don't understand you can pick up on emotions and still have a good guess as to what is said. I took French in high school but for the life of me I could not retain any of it.

As far as my age ...WHATEVER dude. I was just joking around. So agian sorry for that.
