He turns human at the end of DoC.;)

So my guess is no. Seeing as how the average human lifespan is 70-90 years long.

He is said to be immortal but a steak through the heart or decapatation(Sever Off) will kill just about anything. But will it happen?? so I said I don't know...:P

well i would say the chaos gene could have made him retain his youth while in the coffin and it would mean he would need nothing to live not even oxygen

but since chaos returned to the planet vincent is no longer invincible

I voted I don't Know because I think that after Chaos returned to the planet, Vincent will surely no longer be invincible...as FFGuy said.

Also in FFVII: DoC, Hojo says he made Vincent "practically invincible" (or something like that) it would be pretty unfair if you played an "invincible" character in a video game, so maybe he wasn't completely invincible in the first place

the experiments hojo is talking about could be the chaos experiment because he says to lucrecia that he is his failed experiment and his failed experiments often end up being bad ass like cloud and sephiroth

It's weird I always thought that he did die at the end of the game, you have Yuffie there looking up kinda whiningly saying "Vincent!?" and you never see him...all you see is the purple lifestream going down (I presumed that was vincent instead of just the chaos gene). Now that I think about it that doesnt sound right because I know Weiss' body survives so Vincents should have also...I guess I better look up an explenation.

if you go through the credits you see vincent with lucrecia where he thanks her for helping him get rid of chaos and then walks outside the cave with shelke

He is human by the end of the game since the chaos gene came fallin down and all. Adn since there isn't anything of chaos that we know of inside vincent then my guess would be that he has become human.

i think he is hope he does live forever so he can be in another FF main character of FFXVI or something :P
but in all serious he will die, wait? its a game so he lives as long as we remember him :)

yeah with chaos implanted inside him but as vincent had stated chaos was sent back to the planet and we see the chaos gene float with the lifestream at the end of dirge of cerberus

after hojo shot vincent he done experiments on him. Hojo did not put the chaos gene in vincent but gave vincent immortality/indestructible it is later that lucrecia finds that vincent is unstable so she dose more on vincent and puts the chaos gene in him thinging that it would stableiz him. At the end of DoC viscent dosen't have the chaos gene but he stiil has immortality/indestructible because hojo did that experiment before vincent got chaos
When Vincent discovers that Sephiroth is a result of Hojo having injected Lucrecia's yet-unborn baby with JENOVA's DNA, Vincent loses it and confronts Hojo. Hojo kills Vincent and conducts an operation on his body, reviving him and turning him into an unstable monster capable of mutating further when angered.
However, Vincent's body proves unstable, and Lucrecia takes it to perform further experiments on it. She injects Vincent with the Chaos gene; the process unleashes Chaos for a moment, but it is quickly subdued. She takes the Protomateria and embeds it in Vincent's body, fully reviving him but leaving him with the effects of both Hojo's experimentation (the ability to turn into monsters) and the Chaos gene.

well hojo says to vincent that he gave vincent a near-indestructible body not an immortal one
