Cynic of course is when you're critical of human values and pretty much humans in general.

Or are you a philantrophist?
Likes people.
I personally am both but about 80% of me is cynic owing to recent events *cough* and am only happy about people when they actually do the right stuff.

But then again, to make things more interesting, I opted out 'both'.
So which one do you lean more towards?

Stuff like that I tend to snap. However, people in my social life can take me for a quiet person and someone to make comments when a person says something stupid. I always like to correct people and try and make them better, but I don't "hate" them. I always look for a chance to catch someone doing something wrong, though.

Ahh, I can't really vote because I'm kinda stuck in between being a cynic and a philanthropists. For the past year ever since living here in Ohio, I have been a cynic and it bothers me somewhat. A lot of people in the area where I live in are so pessimistic and are always in a bad mood. I guess it affects me too in a bad way because I feel like I'm starting to become like those negative people.

I used to be always cheerful around people. I'd joke around and say stupid stuff all the time. But lately I can't seem to find that persona in me anymore and it does change my views in life a little...in a bad way. So we'll see. Hopefully I can find myself again when I go for a visit in California. I guess you could say I'm homesick.

There has to be a mesh of both at tiems I believe. I don't hate people's behavior, and I don't love how people act all the time. Some people are downright stupid and idiotic and don't deserve to have their actions condoned. Others though make life a blast to be around and deserve great recognition beyond belief.

I'd say I straddle the fence.

I'm relatively cynical in demeanor, I guess, but I'm not really selfish at all, really.

I am definatly a cynic. If someone is suddenly nice to me I want to know why?..what do they want that I have?..what do they get out of this?...how much is this going to cost me?
Mainly this is because that's what humans are like. We are all out there looking out for 'number 1' for our own best interests. Humans are a selfish lot really.

I always seem to doubt people's intentions when they try being nice to me. Mainly because I'm so distant to others, I find it hard to believe that they find anything interesting about me.

It's not that I want to be cynical or anything, but eh, it's human nature to react in certain ways. This just happens more often for some than others.

So yes, I'm a cynic. Philantrophist extremists get on my wick.
