Here's the opening for Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for PSP! Thank you so much Square for making such an amazing game! I'm slightly disappointed that it's so underplayed, 'cause it's one of the better FF games for sure.
Haven't heard about Tactics? It's a JRPG with a grid-based battle system. Think Disgaea or Fire Emblem and you're pretty much there. The game is known for the soundtrack, characters, story and dramatic battles.

The PSP version is a much improved version of the original for PS1. In fact, it's the first the UK has seen of the game at all. Apparently it's for iPod or something too but...who knows.

Thanks for watching! The series will be starting real soon! :)

P.S. The series will be recorded off the PSP and not emulated at all, so the screen will be smaller (it'd take hacking etc otherwise and that's not something I'm willing to do). Fullscreen is highly recommended for what's coming :).

-------------------------------------------

Episode 1 - An Ovelia Kidnapped

http://youtu.be/OmmB1dpi2v4

Hey guys, welcome to a brand new series! This episode is all about the opening and what happens a year in the future. Protecting Ovelia is an easy job, with most of the battle being automated, but we do the best we can with only Ramza (our main character) to control.

-----------------------------------------------

Church Battle Strategy:

- Let the computer do all the work. Shove it, enemies!
- Use Ramza to get a little bit of damage in or boost the AI characters' bravery with his mettle ability.

-----------------------------------------------

Then we move a year into the past, where we'll be residing for a while. We find out that Delita is actually not too into kidnapping back then, so what happened? That's what we'll be finding out as we continue through this section of the game.

Does Delita's Kidnapping go to plan? Does Ramza beat down those evil shits invading the church? Are the opening cutscenes amazing (I'll answer that one: yes!)?

Thanks for watching! We'll be taking on our first proper battle next time! :)

P.S. I haven't sped up the enemy turns this time (much?). I'll be doing that from now on :).

-------------------------------------------

Episode 2 - Wee Moppits At Gariland

http://youtu.be/TdI8nK_0ejU

Hey all, welcome to the battle at Gariland! This is an easy enough battle, but considering it's the first proper battle of the game, I guess it should be easy, you know?

-----------------------------------------

Gariland Battle Strategy:

- Keep your chemists back when possible. You don't want your healers dying.
- Watch Delita. He always puts himself in harms way. Heal him whenever you need to.
- Just hack away otherwise. I like to keep my party split in two to take on the two separated groups of enemies.

-----------------------------------------

We also spend a fair amount of time looking at the job/ability system and the shop system. If you don't want to see that, I wouldn't blame you for stopping this episode after the battle. Nothing else but my explanations and how I update the party happens afterwards. I won't be spending any more time showing the party upgrades after this episode, except for a quick update at the start of episodes maybe.

Thanks for watching! Any feedback on that bit where I speed the enemy turn up at about 5 minutes 30 in would be greatly appreciated. See you next time for the Mandalia Plains! :).

-------------------------------------------

Episode 3 - Argath's Plight

http://youtu.be/6h5XtbZZ7CE

Hello peoples, welcome to Mandalia Plain! It's a nice little place, but it looks like there's a bit of a brawl going on! So, you can either choose for your objective to be killing all the enemies or for it to be protecting Argath (the hostage). We naturally take the tougher path so if Argath dies, it's game over!

-------------------------------------

Mandalia Plain Strategy:

- Heal Argath a lot! He'll be putting himself in trouble, so y'know.
- Take out the enemies with lower HP first, if possible. The fewer enemies remaining, the better.
- That's it really. Just go all out! ;)

-------------------------------------

With that battle sorted, we have Argath on board as another guest character! Delita and Argath are bound to be the best of pals, am I right?
We also check out a little optional scene added to the psp version, where the people in the pub talk about multiplayer mode; something added to war of the lions. We won't bother with that though 'cause it's a wee bit shite (it can get you some really good equipment though if you fancy it).

Thanks for watching! We'll finally make it to Eagrose Castle next time, which is actually a pretty nice place to look at and provides us with some new characters :).

-------------------------------------

Episode 4 - The Siedge Weald

http://youtu.be/C-0ohSjhzwU

Hey all, it's time to celebrate our victory with some of the family! I think they're referring to the battle at Mandalia Plain but it could well be the one at Gariland. Who knows ha. We get to meet a new NPC or two too, in the form of Tietra and Alma. Both of which are going to become huge parts of the story and really make the game come to life in a bit.

As for now, we need to make our way through the Siedge Weald to make it to Dorter, the town where Argath is so desperate to make it to, in order to save the Marquis.

---------------------------------

Siedge Weald Strategy:

- Level up a bit at Mandalia Plain before coming here if you have problems. Make sure to upgrade your jobs from squires and upgrade equipment to the highest at both towns/castles.
- Try to remove the bomb first. He can be a pain in the arse.
- Protect Delita and Argath. We all know how reckless they can be lmao!
- If you have a black mage, now's the time for it to shine! Use Blizzard on the goblins for one hit KOs (and possibly on more than one at a time if they close together!).
- Heal when necessary. Protect would be good with a white mage, if you have learnt it. I haven't.

---------------------------------

That swamp is killer, am I right? However, it's another level up spot, so make sure to have a few battles before next time. Dorter isn't a walk in the park :).

Thanks for watching! We'll head on into Dorter next time...but will we save the Marquis? ;)

P.S. Do Delita and Argath have to argue? They're both ever so privileged to be traveling along with a mighty Beoulve!

P.P.S. I swear I'll cut out all the equipment and shopping stuff from now on. Even I find it tedious to watch while editing :/.

-------------------------------------------

Episode 5 - Wiegraf And The City Of Dorter

http://youtu.be/b9Woe8RbFAw

Hey all, welcome to a tough little battle at the merchant city of Dorter! It looks like we need to find the Marquis even quicker with this new guy (Wiegraf) around! He seems awful violent :s. Fortunately, we don't have to fight him here though.

------------------------------------------

Merchant City of Dorter Strategy:

- Leave the archer up on top, next to your party, to Delita and Argath. They'll sort the git out.
- Try to remove the black mages really quick. They're a low level so they'll go down in one or two hits once you reach them.
- Again, keep the white mage focused on the AI stragglers. They're hard to keep safe :/.
- Ramza should be strong. Go for broke with him :D.

------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! With Argath getting more and more violent himself, we need to sort this situation with the Marquis out right away. See you next time when we head to the Zeklaus Desert in the hopes of finding the Marquis. Bye! :)

-------------------------------------------

Episode 6 - Whose Sietch? Ew...

http://youtu.be/89xGv_COl2c

Hello peoples! This time around, we're gonna save the marquis via an easy enough battle. The enemies are trapped in the ruins, so you have the upper hand so long as you block the doorways with stronger characters.

--------------------------------------------

Zeklaus Desert Strategy:

- Block the doorways with stronger characters
- Keep the AI characters healed
- Keep your mages outside and your fighters nearer the enemies
- Magic and arrows can go over walls. Remember the enemies can do this too!

--------------------------------------------

Not a lot to this battle really. If you can't beat it, chances are you're stuck back on the squires and thieves or are a low level.

However, the plot is the main thing this time around! We've found the Marquis so everything will be all happy and rosey for the rest of the game! Yay!

Thanks for watching! We'll take him back to Eagrose Castle next time ;).

-------------------------------------------

Episode 7 - Delita's Sister

http://youtu.be/X6U_pamxHyI

Hey all, are you ready for some greater plot development than we've seen in a while? There's a good reason why Tietra is kidnapped...we'll see why a bit later. The game is going to start getting a bit more in-depth soon :D.

However, before we get the chance to go save her, we need to check out the Brigands' Den! This is where Milleuda is going to pop up and introduce herself. She's not a huge character in herself, but there are some dire consequences from what happens throughout the next two battles.

-----------------------------------------------

Brigands' Den Strategy:

- If you want, you can go straight for Milleuda. She's the only one you need to kill to win this battle.
- Otherwise, take down the white mage quick so she can't heal.
- Delita and Argath are both weak now. Protect them and heal them often. Or just let them die and focus on your main party. Up to you.
- Otherwise, there's not much to say. Go all out!

-----------------------------------------------

And with that, we're done for the episode! We'll head towards Eagrose Castle next time and start our search for Tietra :D. Thank you so much for watching!

-------------------------------------------

Episode 8 - To Blow A Reed

http://youtu.be/JlrZU4raSpE

Hey all, here comes some more plot development! We actually see Argath in a whole new light and lose him as a guest. That doesn't mean he's entirely evil though...does it?

Also, Dycedarg is hurt in bed, but will he die so soon and with barely any impact on the story?

There's a cutscene in this part too, which is absolutely stunning. It's not packed with action, in fact it's incredibly quiet and shows some insight into Delita and Ramza's growing friendship. I love this one.

The battle this time around is all about Milleuda's revenge. Maybe we should have killed her off sooner and listened to Argath's harsh but perhaps useful opinions? Nah, too much guilt lies that way.

-------------------------------------------

Lenalian Plateau Strategy:

- Take out the mages first. Black mages preferably and then the time mage. Watch out for her haste and slow.
- Go straight for Milleuda if you like. She's the only target that needs to be killed.
- Keep healed etc etc. Delita is weak now etc etc.

-------------------------------------------

And that about wraps it up! We'll head to the Windflats next time, which has an interesting boss character. See you there :).

-------------------------------------------

Episode 9 - Wiegraf's Revenge

http://youtu.be/XbEt7fxyD-U

Hey all! It looks like Milleuda was Wiegraf's sister, so he's out for revenge! But will he be able to defeat us?

-----------------------------------------

Fovoham Windflats Strategy:

- Wiegraf is the toughest of the enemies. Go for him first if he comes in close.
- The chocobo can cure himself and the enemies. It has low HP and defence too.
- The monks are gonna counter now and again, so magic could be a good option for taking those down.
- Delita is complete crap by this point. Protect him or ignore him. Up to you.

-----------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll be finding Tietra next time and isn't that an interesting battle and bit of story development? See you there :).

-------------------------------------------

Episode 10 - Chapter Tietra Completed

http://youtu.be/G25zICgCKJs

Ok, I want to keep this one brief and spoiler-free, because this episode has the end of chapter 1...important plot within! I'll leave it to you guys to see what happens this time around :). What I will say though, is that Tietra is finally found. There's also a great cutscene.

For brief battle help here, just go straight for the boss character if you like. It's all you need to do to win.

Thanks for watching! We'll start chapter 2 tomorrow :).

P.S. I had to lower the mic volume later on, because someone came home and put their music on full blast. Not naming names :p.

--------------------------------------------

Episode 11 - Paid Assault

http://youtu.be/CfyrWgxvhI4

Hey all, here comes the start of chapter 2! Now we have two new AI characters instead of Delita and Argath: Agrias and Gafgarion. These two are much more powerful and useful than they were :).

We kick things off with a battle back at the merchant city of Dorter:

--------------------------------------------

Dorter Battle 2 Strategy:

- Look out for the archers and mages. Take them down quickly if possible.
- Agrias and Gafgarion are great. Don't worry about needing to heal them too often (though I'm sure you're used to having to with the old guests ha).
- Just go all out otherwise. It's a pretty simple battle compared with what we've had to put up with lately.

--------------------------------------------

So, with that simple enough battle out of the way we can carry on towards Araguay Woods (and ultimately Fort Besselat) next time :).

Thanks for watching!

-------------------------------------------

Episode 12 - Boco The Chocobo!

http://youtu.be/volt2vMWk1A

Hey folks, just a short episode today. This time around, we're heading into the Araguay Woods and finding our new pal: Boco the chocobo. We choose to save him, because we want him in our party, right? Right.

-------------------------------------

Araguay Woods Strategy:

- Get your white mage near Boco as quickly as possible. He's not allowed to die and he's physically weak.
- All the enemies are goblins, so Blizzard/Blizzara is incredibly useful. You can take out up to 5 of the enemies in one spell if they're positioned right ;).
- Agrias and Gafgarion will help you through this. Don't worry about them...concentrate on your own party.

-------------------------------------

So yeah, this is pretty much a filler battle. Still, the next battle certainly isn't, so keep an eye out peoples ;). Thanks for watching!

-------------------------------------

Episode 13 - Gafgarion's Betrayal

http://youtu.be/Figpoi1zL84

Why 'ello there! This battle at Zeirchele Falls has important plot that will affect some of the game. Worth a watch :). I'm not gonna put any more in here for now other than the battle strategy...in case of spoilers.

-------------------------------------

Zeirchele Falls Strategy:

- Protect the princess! She will cast Aegis on herself (puts a tonne of status buffs on the character, from haste to regen to reraise) so you don't have to worry too much. Still, keep an eye out.
- Take Gafgarion out quickly. He's gonna be a pain in the arse otherwise.
- Delita is really strong now. He's take out a few enemies for you easily.
- Otherwise, go all out I guess.

-------------------------------------

Look out for the cinematic after the battle! It's a nice one...but aren't they all?

Thanks for watching! If you want to skip the rest after the cutscene, I wouldn't blame you. The equipment stuff is a bit long-winded :).

-------------------------------------------

And all done! That took a wee while lmao. This is a daily lp, with one battle per day for the most part. There might be two battles in a day sometimes.

Greeny had some free time on his hands, huh? :wacky:

Yay for playing one of the best FF games around! (one of my favorite overall!)

Greeny had some free time on his hands, huh? :wacky:

Ha I did a bit. Survivor gave me time off from the forum ironically to work on a bigger LP :lew:. I agree, it's definitely one of the best FF games. I mean, look at all the FF's that came out before this (except 7) and this beats them hands down.

Episode 14 - Epic Fail #1

http://youtu.be/-ULpbea-FHg

Hey all, it's time for us to pick up another guest! Mustadio is a gunner and is really handy if you want some huge range across the battlefield. The only issue it his HP...especially in this battle. You can choose whether to protect him or just beat all enemies...so of course we go for the tougher option and protect him! Epic unavoidable fail #1 incoming...

--------------------------------

The Castled City of Zaland Strategy:

- Make sure to heal Mustadio often. He's weak.
- Get the party inside the town walls before Mustadio dies. Hopefully the enemies will go for your party instead of the guest.
- Agrias will probably be more than useless in this battle. Maybe give her equipment that boosts her move stat so she can do some stuffs?
- Otherwise, just watch out for those archers. They have a load of range too. They're just not powerful on their own.

--------------------------------

This is also the start of the zodiac stones thread that will run throughout the rest of the game now. They make things much more interesting and more multi-dimensional.

Thanks for watching! I'll see you next time :).

--------------------------------

Episode 15 - The Balias Tour

http://youtu.be/hhmJYCsv0O8

Hey all, here comes the Balias Tor battle! The battle itself is pretty generic.

--------------------------------

Balias Tor Strategy:

- Watch out for those summoners! Take them out quick, 'cause they can both heal a load of their party and hurt a load of yours in one go.
- The archers are another thing to look out for. They're higher up too, so they're at the advantage.
- Mustadio will be handy as a guest. He can shoot loads, even if it's only minor damage each time.
- Otherwise, just heal and hurt as much as possible. It's not one of the tougher battles in the game.

--------------------------------

We also see that our princess is getting a wee bit depressed about her position in the world, so she attempts to blow a reed to collect herself. Noice.

Finally, we find out that Gafgarion is working for Dycedarg; our very own brother! This is all gonna get messy ;).

Thanks for watching! :)

Episode 16 - Qu's Marsh?

http://youtu.be/ZVQyZR33U7A

Hey all, are you ready to head into Lionel Castle? We're only there for a bit of plot, in order to meet our vicar mate. He'll look after the Princess for us, so that's nice of him.

We then head into the Tchigolith Fenlands; the most swampy place in the game.

-------------------------------------------

Tchigolith Fenlands Strategy:

- Don't go in the water unless you're ready for a good dose of poison. Poison removes regen too, so look out.
- A load of the enemies are undead, so fire and healing magic will hurt them loads. Not the flying enemies though.
- Otherwise, be careful of where you step and go all out.

-------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll head into Goug next time and see what that place has in store for us ;).

Episode 17 - Fighting Like Clockwork

http://youtu.be/NrdESoP4ShE

Welcome folks to a simple enough battle at the Clockwork City of Goug!

-----------------------------------

Clockwork City of Goug Strategy:

- I'm not really sure what to say for this one. Keep Mustadio healed up; his distant attacks are handy.
- Just go all out with whatever party you have and you'll probably make it through. There's nothing to complicated here.

-----------------------------------

We also find Mustadio's father and release him. Funnily enough, the zodiac stones were involved in all this too! Believe me when I say that they are going to make our lives hard :/.

Thanks for watching! See you next time :).

Episode 18 - Agrias Is In Danger!

http://youtu.be/4Tu8QWJ1c4Y

Hey all, I'm uploading this part really late, so I'll keep this one brief. We head to the port city of Warjilis and have a cutscene involving Delita. We also have a battle at Balias Swale, 'cause Agrias has gotten herself in over her heels. Is that even the expression? In over her head! That's the one.

For the battle, just slap the enemies and keep Agrias alive at all costs.

Thanks for watching! See you tomorrow for one of the hardest battles in the game! It seems like there's an execution at the gallows...

Episode 19 - Ovelia At The Gallows

http://youtu.be/PjK2ZcMFUEE

Hey everyone! It's time for us to head into the Golgollada Gallows and hope that we're in time to save Princess Ovelia from being executed!

--------------------------------------------

Golgollada Gallows Strategy:

- This is one of the toughest battles in the game! I recommend trying to remove the time mages first so they have less support.
- The archers are another pain. Take them out quick too.
- Gafgarion should probably be left until last. He's just going to heal himself if you don't concentrate your whole party's attacks on him at once.
- Healing is tough in this battle because of the amount of enemies. Try to make sure your whole party can use phoenix downs.
- Level grind if necessary.

--------------------------------------------

Ooph that's a toughy! With that out of the way, we'll carry on next time. Thanks so much for watching!

P.S. I'm actually really proud of my little fail montage. In a geeky kinda way :s.

Episode 20 - Gafgarion's Death

http://youtu.be/OsI5lZYyv5A

Hey all, this episode has another tough battle! We're up against Gafgarion again, but this time we only have Ramza to beat him off...thankfully our little strategy (totally planned of course!) works.

---------------------------------------

Lionel Castle Gate Strategy:

- You have a couple of options here. If you go to the lever as Ramza, next to the gate, then the gate will open and the rest of your party can enter. Handy if Ramza is weak.
- As the video shows, you can just break Gafgarion's weapon via Rend Weapon and make this part of the battle much easier.
- With the rest of your party, go all out. The summoners are the best enemies to remove first.

---------------------------------------

After this battle, we have a battle that I think is unique to the psp version. Delita and Ovelia take on a couple of low-level enemies that go down really quickly. Just stick a few of Delita's really powerful moves on them and you're sorted.

Thanks for watching! We'll head further into the castle next time ;).

---------------------------------------

Woop, it's next time already!

Episode 21 - Cuchulainn's Nightmare

http://youtu.be/QJO48L6VsD4

Hello again! This time around we head further into Lionel Castle (we finish it off actually) and find that Cardinal Delacroix has transformed into a demon known as Cuchulaine! Yup, it's our first zodiac stone boss and it's a toughy if you aren't ready for it!

---------------------------------------

Cuchulaine Strategy:

- Go for broke! All your most powerful spells, attacks etc.
- Watch out for doom and sleep. Hopefully the battle won't last long enough for doom to matter, but if it does, be ready with phoenix downs or raise.
- Keep your party separated a little bit if you can. Most of his attacks are area-based.
- I wouldn't bother with protect/shell/regen etc. Reraise could be good though.

---------------------------------------

And with that, chapter 2 is complete! Chapter 3: The Valiant will be starting properly tomorrow, and is where the zodiac stones start having a bigger impact on the war.

Thanks for watching! :)

Episode 22 - Chapter 3 Begins!

http://youtu.be/ZH2XyCHBoeo

Hey all, are you ready to make a start on chapter 3? We kick things off by meeting Orran in the Mining Town of Gollund.

---------------------------------------

Mining Town of Gollund Strategy:

- The main boss could be a good first target. He can take down Orran pretty quickly if you let.
- Because of that, heal Orran regularly.
- Orran has a move that will disable/stop all enemies. He will use this for sure. Thing is, it can miss so it may not be perfect.
- Easy enough battle overall, so that's all I can think of to say really.

---------------------------------------

With that done, we have another new location to visit next time. Thanks for watching! :)

Episode 23 - A Brother's Mistrust

http://youtu.be/1nNf69HDQPg

Hey all, it's time for us to finally try and convince Zalbag that our family isn't quite sparkling clean and that the war is being controlled from behind the curtains! Saying that, I've always felt like this game could be a play...in the same sort of way FF9 could be one.

We also have a fight at the Royal City of Lesalia, where we have our sis in the battle with us!

--------------------------------------------

Royal City of Lesalia Strategy:

- Alma shouldn't need protecting. She's pretty much useless in this battle though, other than her physical attacks healing you.
- Otherwise, you can either go straight for the priest and beat the battle quick, or kill all the enemies.
- Watch the knights don't destroy your equipment.

--------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! Still lots more to come :).

Episode 24 - Orbonne Library

http://youtu.be/4g_adTR-91Q

I was planning on chucking all of the Orbonne battles up on the same day, but with other important things going on, I'll have to keep it to a battle per day as usual.

Here comes the first battle in the Orbonne Monastry! It looks like we'll need to kick things off with a death and a battle in the library:

-----------------------------------

Orbonne Library Strategy:

- The dragoons can attack from a distance. Maybe Protect would be good for this.
- Take out the chemist and time mages quick. We all know how much of a pain mages and healers are in FF games.
- Otherwise, there's not much to suggest. If you have trouble with this battle, you should definitely leave and level-grind/get better jobs. It won't be getting any easier.

-----------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll head further into the monastery next time :)

Episode 25 - Isilud The Dragoon

http://youtu.be/G87A8Bfll8w

Hey all, here comes our fight against Isilud, and we'll just say that he has a party that fully functions with the environment we're stuck in.

-----------------------------------------------

Isilud (Orbonne Monastery) Strategy:

- The summoner and archers are trouble. They don't need to worry about the maze at all to hit you. Heal up often.
- Isilud is a dragoon with a huge range. Going for him straight away would be handy, but hard.
- Otherwise, Flare is good for taking down one or two enemies, while powerful fighters are also good.
- You could copy his strategy and get loads of ranged characters to win. Up to you.

-----------------------------------------------

This was a tough fight! But now it's done and we can head further into the monastery. Next time! Thanks for watching ;).

Episode 26 - Scriptures Of Germonique

http://youtu.be/BXOpavDd9-4

Hey all, here's a short battle to finish off the Orbonne Monastery! The battle itself is simple.

---------------------------------------------

Wiegraf (Orbonne Monastery) Strategy:

- Just go straight for Wiegraf with your best spells and ranged attacks.
- He'll come in through the door anyways, so you can just go for him then.
- Don't let the battle even start. Those mages will cause trouble for you if you do.

---------------------------------------------

This episode is less about the battle though and more about the plot. It looks like Alma has been kidnapped! *Shock shock gasp gasp*. You see, Isilud is still alive and thought he'd nab her. We can't give chase though 'cause of Wiegraf (hence the battle).

Otherwise, we meet a new character who is threatening us to hand over the scriptures of germonique that we got from Father Simon a few episodes back. We need to trade them for Alma! They must be important...

Thanks for watching! We'll make a start on the journey towards the next castle next time! :)

Episode 27 - Grogh Heights

http://youtu.be/TBFnQjZvfF0

Hey all, are you ready for the battle at Grogh Heights? It's a simple little battle that doesn't take long.

---------------------------------

Grogh Heights Strategy:

- This all depends on your party. Anything will work really.
- Take out the chemists early on so they can't use phoenix downs.
- There's really not a lot else I can say...

---------------------------------

Keep an eye out for the FMV added onto the end. It's really nice and reminds me a lot of that one cinematic in FF9, where Dagger is up singing in Lindblum Castle and Zidane interrupts her. The bird effects are very similar too.

Thanks for watching! I'll see you next time for Yardrow ;).

Episode 28 - Sibling Rivalry

http://youtu.be/IBfr1pVPegQ

Hey all, this is all about the battle between Rapha and Marach (though obviously we're gonna stick our noses in too).

--------------------------------------

Yardrow Strategy:

- Watch out for those summoners! They can both heal and deal decent damage in wide areas.
- Watch out for the ninjas too! Dualwield is deadly, as we know.
- Marach can cast spells that hit multiple times. Might want to aim for him first.

--------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll carry on towards the castle next time :).

--------------------------------------

Episode 29 - Forest Of The Dead

http://youtu.be/A_TA5coOduk

Hey all, here's another battle that's unique to the PSP version. It's only quick and simple, but it's interesting regardless.

Along with that battle we head into the Yugue Wood and beat off some of the undead that were left over from ye olde war that we keep hearing about.

--------------------------------------

Yugue Wood Strategy:

- Look out because if you let an enemy be dead for 3 turns here, they'll come back to life. You need to be quick!
- Those ghosts can teleport anywhere on the map. Can't really defend your mages when they can attack from a range either.

--------------------------------------

That's about it really. Not a tough battle so long as you can deal decent damage quickly.

Thanks for watching! We're finally going for the castle tomorrow! Be afraid lmao.

Episode 30 - Who Is Riovane?

http://youtu.be/vBpxZMCdgpI

Hey all, we've made it to Riovanes Castle! This first battle can be tricky if you let it be.

--------------------------------------------

Riovanes Castle Gate Strategy:

- If your little Rapha goes down, her brother will go down too! You could just kill her off, 'cause she's pretty useless anyway. Y'know, if you're a damn sadist.
- Those archers will be a pain right through the battle 'cause they're so high up and have huge range. Might be worth going for them and ignoring the knights until later?
- The knights will deal big damage and break equipment though (what else is new?). Look out.

--------------------------------------------

Battle over! Thanks for watching! We'll head into the castle next time...and dear god will it be fun :/.

Episode 31 - Belias, The Gigas

http://youtu.be/c7CXA5gg_sA

Ohhhhh, dear lord. This is possibly the toughest battle in the entire game. Tricky is not the word for it! For you see...Wiegraf is ready to transform into Belias.

--------------------------------------------

Belias Strategy:

- When you fight Wiegraf, make Ramza a dragoon and jump a lot. The greater the distance you can make when jumping the better. He can't counter this way and he'll need to chase you.
- When fighting Wiegraf as Belias, you'll need to deal huge damage. Get those Holys Flares, Dualwield attacks etc on the go!
- I'm not sure if it's best to kill his minions first or not. As you can see in the vid, I'm no expert at this battle. May be worth just focusing on Belias?
- Raise isn't that helpful, nor is a phoenix down, because they can just take that character back down right away. Huge range of attack, y'know?

--------------------------------------------

If you need more help with this battle, give me a shout. I'll try and help. If you reeeeally can't win, it may be worth level grinding.

Thanks for watching! We'll finish off the castle tomorrow, ja? ;)

I'm aiming to finish this series before the 19th September, so let's get cracking with 3 episodes today!

Episode 32 - Marquis On The Roof!

http://youtu.be/mOUX-V1_xww

Hey all, here's the last of Riovanes Castle, the sibling portion of the game and chapter 3! The battle itself isn't hard so long as you focus on just one enemy instead of spreading out. We find that out the hard way...

-----------------------------------------------

Riovanes Castle Roof Strategy:

- Focus solely on one enemy. Whichever you prefer. Once one is defeated, you win :).
- Don't bother healing. You won't be around long enough for it to really matter. Reviving is a different matter...maybe.
- Most powerful attacks! Go go go!

-----------------------------------------------

So with the Marquis defeated for the first time and a set of new villains introduced, we're done! Thanks for watching! We'll start the final chapter (chapter 4) next time :).

-----------------------------------------------

Episode 33 - The Final Chapter!

http://youtu.be/QVxoXTHZmK4

Ok, so this one is really short. That's why this has been uploaded on a day with two other episodes ha. The start of chapter 4 isn't full of action or anything as you'd expect, but just a quick simple battle.

----------------------------------------------

Dageura Pass Strategy:

- Ummm, just take them out. The mages first. We all know that they can be gits sometimes by this point.
- Dragoons can attack from a distance and do big damage. A flare and an attack will finish them off though.

-----------------------------------------------

And that's it really. Don't worry, the battles will become tougher.

Thanks for watching! The free city of Bervenia is next! :)

-----------------------------------------------

Episode 34 - Meliadoul's Vengence

http://youtu.be/T-R5sfqRaiQ

Hi! The Free City of Bervenia is our way of kicking off episode 34! What we have here is a new character, once again: Meliadoul.

-----------------------------------------------

Meliadoul Strategy:

- She deals huge damage and destroys equipment at the same time! Focus entirely on her and win the battle ASAP!
- Reviving may be a common thing in this battle, y'know?
- Flare, dualwield, Jump etc etc. Your best moves.

-----------------------------------------------

Thanks for watching! We'll be seeing more of her as we carry on. See you next time :).

Are you going to do the side quest aswell as getting all the job classes? I would like if you get the onion knight and dark knight, as you proceed in the game.

Nah sorry Haku, no sidequests here. I'm trying to finish this series by the 19th (holiday) and I don't think that'll be possible if I do the sidequests too. I have however spent the last few days (about 10 hours...) training someone up to be a dark knight, so that'll be shown later on. The onion knight is nothing worth seeing. Very bland and probably just there to add another bonus to the game rather than actually be interesting.

Thanks for posting, Haku :).
