Playstation The Last Of Us by NAUGHTY DOG

Purchased it after I got off from work this morning. I had to make one of our team member retrieve the games in the backroom since they haven't put it out yet. xD

But yeah, excited for this. Right now, FFXIV beta is downloading on my PS3 though, so I won't have time to play this today. I'll give it a whirl tomorrow.

And yes, thanks for that info, Dennis. :) I don't really rely on auto-saves anyway, as I'm used to manually saving a game, so this isn't a big issue for me.


Edit: ND "We've addressed the autosave issue, it was related to servers on our end. Please quit to XMB and restart the game. SP and MP are OK to play!"
 
I watched the demo of the game a couple weeks ago, and it didn't blow my skirt in the air, tbph. :hmmm: But the TV spot looks pretty b'dass. I think I might get it this weekend if possible. Lots of free time what with it being summer.
 
Just watched the whole walkthrough and FINISHED it! It's sad that I'm not good at shooting games. Well, I could be, but they don't keep me entertained for very long. Anyway...it was very entertaining actually and I liked the ending. It does seem like a good game, just that it's stereotypical in some aspects. Good, though I imagined this game to be different than what it is.

Since when do you have a ps3? :ahmed: It is a really good game so far and I highly recommend playing it. It really focuses on the essence of survival. I like single player a lot so far. I am going to try the multiplayer today as well.

Just a tip, don't rely on listen mode alot, also try not to run it'll make you appear on the minimap.

I dunno about multiplayer. Maybe with peoples from da eff eff eff, but that's about it.

I need to finish other games first though. Otherwise I never will.

I would not mind playing mp with people like you. Just do not let me down.

Last of us is too good for your other games. :hmph:
 
Bumping an old thread ~
But is anyone still playing this game and what are your thoughts on the single player?

I must say this game was really overhyped, it did wonderfully with cinematics and story but I felt like the gameplay was a little bit of a let down. Much too competitive and there was no urgency particularly when you first get into the High School and the clickers etc are at the main door. I was freaking out expecting that they would storm in at any moment but they didn't. Otherwise amazing game, I'm playing multiplayer and am sitting at about week 70+ I've killed my clan off two times :(

Also new DLC is set to release which I'm pretty excited for, especially with talk of co-op and addition to single player :D
