I don't like this place -__-

I spend ages mooching around getting into random fights (Which I hate with a passion in a town grrr) Then start climbing some stupid building. Run out of phoenix downs. Finally get to the top (ish) with just Celes & Sabin standing only for some guy who 'doesn't like to fight' to hand me my arse -__-

I think I will now proceed to have one of those moments where I refuse to play the game for afew weeks. This is by far the worst place I have come across so far. Mehhh it's made me really rather mad :stare:

I hate climbing up stupid buildings and towers as it is :gasp:

Yeah, zozo is pretty tough. If you can't defeat the guys there then train outside of zozo. If you are struggling there, you will have no chance when you go the floating Island.

Oh yay. My favourite thing. Training... I guess I'l just have to be patient and also go shopping for more phoenix downs....

Or I think I might just put this game in the pile of games never to be beaten......

Why does it even have random encounters in there? Does this annoyance get explained?

Uh, because Zozo is full of the ne'er-do-wells that get thrown out of Jidoor...

Anywhoo...Why are you having trouble? Who's your party? A good setup to coast through any area is Celes, Locke (both of which are gonna be mandatory after Zozo anyways), Sabin, & Edgar (who you'll wanna take along after Zozo for a nifty extra lil scene explaining a bit more about their past that you should have gotten if you took them both to sleep in Figaro when you crossed the mountain range...it's not to late to do that if you didn't btw)...If you solve the clock puzzle in Zozo you get one of Edgars most powerful Tools, also! To solve it just remember: Everyone in Zozo lies! Although it's probably easier to just look it up or...
6:10:50

Oh, also, you can steal some good stuff from some of the monsters in Zozo as well...I believe Dragon Boots & Eye Goggles or w/e they're called that prevent Darkness...Relics are usually always good moneys...If you're having any trouble you should remember to take out the Dancers first...and those giant monster guys too...unless you have Float (does Celes learn Float naturally? I forget...)...

Ah yeah, I got the chainsaw :wacky:

I have Edgar lvl 16
Sabin - 17
Celes - 16
Locke - 15

I vaguely remember this place from the first time I attempted to play this game so I knew I was gunna have an arsey time :wacky:

You might actually want to boot Celes out (especially if you already got the scene in Kohlingen w/Locke & Rachel)...She can be useful by using Runic Blade against the Dancers...but I prefer taking Shadow (who you can only recruit from Kohlingen if you have 3 party members) along (as long as he doesn't run out on ya before you get to Zozo) because Shurkins+Intercepter=WIN!!

If Shadow isn't an option then you might want to head back to switch Celes with Cyan and REALLY power through it...

Ah yes, Zozo. That place was such a pain. Not as bad as the floating island, but a pain nonetheless. The Gigas in the fights is what annoys me, it has that damn 'Magnitude 8' attack. And the little wrenchmen are no different. I spent AGES through that place. I was relieved when I finally got through there.

If you think Zozo is annoying, then prepare for huge head-aches throughout the game :ffs:

I tried using Runic blade but it was greyed out...I assume I have to have a sword or something equipped thinking about it >_<

Ugh..... I think I'l keep hold of her for the healing, I need that, I'd be doomed other wise, Id just run out of potions aswel as phoenix downs :wacky:

I will look forward to it -__-

It's like KH all over again :gasp:

The wrenchmen? They're cake w/Aura Bolt, Fire Dance and/or Edgar's Flash Tool...or you can use the Confuse Tool & they'll cast Vanish on your team! Hooray!

With a powerhouse team you really wouldn't NEED healing though...and like I said, make good use of the Steal command & you can make easy money in Zozo.

One thing is that you probably got the Gauntlet instead of the Genji Glove, huh? I missed out on that my first playthrough, myself...

Zozo pissed me off to no end, especially since I got lost and thought I'd gone to the wrong place or something. But it gave me a decent chance to get a few levels up which helped me a lot later on. I'd recommend dropping Celes though, since she's pretty much just a useless character. Sabin and Cyan are your best bets, I'd say.

Yeah, a good usage of equipment & Relics can be key in this game...Hero Ring and/or Earrings on Sabin! Giant's Glove on Edgar! The thief crap on Locke just cause! And really, I think Shadow would be a BIG help. A shurkin will pretty much put anything away in one hit (you can stock up in Kohlingen for cheap!)...and his Intercepter's counterattacks will, of course, kill anything.

My recommendation is to use Edgar, Sabin and Gau. If you get multiple enemies the use Flash with Edgar, Phoenix Dance with Sabin and Templar rage with Gau since that way he can cast Fira on all enemies. But if you confront Gigas, Then Drill/Chainsaw him with Edgar, Aura Cannon him with Sabin and for Gau use Stray Cat rage for the very powerful Cat Scratch that deals 1000+ damage. You can use any other character as a 4th party member.
With this team and strategy every enemy was killed. :monster:

Not all swords can use Runic. Go into the inventory and view a weapons info to see what ability's it can be used with, extra's such as magic and elemental properties and whom can equip it.

For Zozo I take along Locke (Mandatory ofcourse), Edgar for his Auto-crossbow and Chainsaw, Celes for Cure as you'll likely to run out of Potions and the like, and Shadow for Shurikens as they are easily the biggest damage dealer at that point. If Shadow has hustled you and fucked off then a good replacement would be Sabin because of his Blitz skills such as Raging Fist and Fire Dance (?). As already been mentioned, have Locke Steal as much as possible especially from the Gigas' and any other enemies that hold Relics or other equioment.

Once you finally reach the top of the tower and embark on your next 'mission' you will have Locke and Celes mandatory. I don't know who's best to go with them story-wise so chose whomever.

I think the best for the next segment after you find Terra is Edgar & Sabin for an extra bit of their story on their coin toss during the later coin toss...Plus, they'll be really useful in the next "dungeon" you'll be going through...

Zozo is probably my least favorite city in any FF game. Usually I like getting into cities because I know that I am safe from random battles. Not in Zozo.

Though I've never had any trouble in this city. I think my characters may have been overleveled by the time I got there.

Meh, Im back again :gasp:

This time on the bloody mountain. I was wadering along minding my own business when I opened some box and a stupid dragon flew out -__-

Litttle sod handed me my arse so I was like nowai, you're avin it. So I beat it, and pretty much used all my mp curing......only for a litttle window to pop up saying 7 dragons remaining......

:gasp:

yeah that would be the many dragons of the world i forget what happens when you beat them all. back to the topic ZOZO IS THE WORST CITY EVER THEY SHOULD AT LEAST CLEAR OUT THE MONSTERS ok i'm done :).

I'm not happy that NArshe now seems to be infested with monsters aswel -_-

Although on the plus side I finally got Mog who I totally missed first time round :wacky:

This is getting to be a right pain in the behind :gasp:

Did you pick up the Moogle's Charm? its hidden in the spot where Mog stood in the Moogle den.

Yeah 8 Dragon's to go through. The Wind Dragon is one of the harder ones mind I think. If you beat all of them you get the final Esper, Crusader.
