The fact that it took so much to kill Zack just goes to show how much S-E wanted people to regard Zack....? They new it would be difficult thing to approach it was 8-9 years in the making and I reckon "the guys" at S-E thought long aid this beforebout how they wanted it presented when the time came.
I think i've said this b4 sum where/
But it was a hard thing to watch Zack die you knew it was coming but I still made me crysniff.....
Yeah, they kinda over did it. Like I've once heard someone say, "Zack can defeat the
goddess of the planet
but not some wimpy soilders!?"
It was so sad to watch Zack go.
I hadn't played FF7 yet so I wasn't expecting it.
His death was still extremely epic though. (like when the DMW was shorting out and stuff...especially when the last thing he saw in it was Aeris...)
The ending of CC was very epic, and extremely powerful. I got the game and told myself that it was going to happen, and not to get emotional with it. As I played through I really loved him as a character, and well, you can pretty much see where its going
Agree. When I got the game, I knew that it was gonna be a sad ending but still....I could not stop my tears from falling....and even when I played it again and again, I would still cry at the finale
I was sad at the way Zack had to meet such an ending after all he did for ShinRa but most of all, it breaks my heart that Zack did not get to see Aerith for the final time - and he was just outside the city.
Thank God eventually he still get to be with the one he loved....albeit in the Lifestream.
Yeah, he was definitely overkilled. There were so many damn soldiers, if you let Zack keep fighting before the ending, it never ends. Also, the ending made me cry. D: Haha.
It was a bit of an overkill, but it was still pretty epic all around. If they left it with the -10 soldiers like Bubbles said, it would have been a bit underwhelming. =/ Zack is capable of so much more, so to show that it took hundreds of soldiers to take him down, was fairly on the spot, I thought.
The ending would have been a lot better if that Godawful song didn't ruin it. >.o
The death of Zack was quite a bit of overkill to be quite honest as I already knew Zack was dead at the hands of Shinra but to have him killed by that many SOLDIER's was just over the top in my opinion, The song at the end didnt prove a problem for me as I had my trusty ipod with me at the time
