also i've discovered that the fd lens is actually werry werry good. my hands just arent very steady.

i just have to set the aperature before i put it on the body. it's not a huge issue because the lens is so fiddly anyway with the 2 focus rings i'm not gonna be using it for shooting anything super fast. so it isn't bothering me so much. the 28mm with the stuck blades...nah. i just gave the guy positive feedback. i'll probably attempt to disamantle it at some point.
