Everybody has one, and I wanna know what your's is.
What is the band (or singer, whatever) that you absolutely detest? What band causes you to have fits of anger everytime you hear their song played on the radio?

Oh, and if your favourite band is on the list of other people's hated bands, feel free to join in and argue.

For a start, here's my list:

*Panic At The Disco (f**c I hate them.)
*Greenday (a bunch of American idiots)
*Arctic Monkeys
*Fall Out Boy
*My Chemical Romance
*Simple Plan
*All American Rejects
*Slipknot
*MGMT

Hmmm, can't think of any more so will add more when I see fit.

I don't mind Simple Plan but like you said they just seem like wannabes.

I do have music from bands that I don't hate but are played constantly that I really dislike them.

Arctic Monkeys - Average band but seem to be very popular in the UK among the types that don't like rock music and if you ask them their favourite band, this their answer. My brothers mate who we barely see now (and certainly not the type of person I would like to be near) asked me what kind of music I like, to which my reply was mainly rock. Then he immediately says "Aye? Do you like the Arctic Monkeys?" as if they are the best thing since slice bread. I just politely said that they were okay but not my favourite.

The All-American Rejects - Some songs I like but that song 'Gives You Hell' is really annoying me and I won't be surprised if I am driven to the edge of insanity if I listen to that song more. Honestly it has a crap beat to it with some skinny guy saying "When you see my face I hope it gives you hell". It is laughable.

The Fratellis - They are talked about a lot hear just because they are Scottish but I have grown dislike for them. I can listen to them but they sound a bit "poppy" and the lead vocalist seems like an arrogant bastard.

Kaiser Chiefs - They produce average beats as if they were only learning to jam together with crap lyrics. Ricky Wilson must be the worst vocalist in todays well "rock".

Soulja Boy - Not only does this guy produce crap music (I'm not referring to the genre, more to Soulja Boy's music being crap), he is an asshole. I've saw his YouTube videos throwing out "challenges" to the internet at Xbox Live. Despite many accepting the challenge including ScrewAttack.com, he ends up challenging against an MTV Game Blogger who doesn't play 'multiplayer' games as much. He really needs to get his head out his ass.

My Chemical Romance - Freaks. I don't really know what else to say about them.

Panic at the Disco I first didn't like but I liked that song 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' so I listened to the albums and I am alright with them now.

The Feeling - "Ring ring, beep beep" - What the fuck is that about?

That's about it for now as I can't think of anyone else. Maybe someone else will post and refresh my memory on crap.
 
Oh yeah Soulja Boy...

Another few to add to my list:

Guns n' Roses - I don't like them, I don't want to see his 'Serpentine' in anyone's 'Jungle' and Axl (who the hell gave him that name?) cannot sing. I'm sorry to all GnR fans here.

Bands which have the word 'Death', 'Sin' or other negative words in their name are up there on my 'To One Day Throttle' list. Exception go to bands which don't suck (in my opinion, of course. The world doesn't revolve around me.)
 
I too, cannot stand Simple Plan. Their voices are just whiney, and their lyrics are horrid. I do still like their "addicted to you" song, however.

Anyways, my least favorite bands are:

-From First To Last:
I really dislike the emo-core style of music. I dislike a lot of original emo music, and their sound is much like it Imho.

-Hawthorne Heights:
Same reason as above, only they have more of a whine to their voices.

-Avril Lavigne:
Her music is awful, and her personality matches. I was watching TMZ, and she actually spit on her fans. Not only that, but she called one of my favorite artists (Pink) "A bit of a poser". Avril claimed to be nothing, and then suddenly started calling herself a 'punk princess' when her sound is NOTHING like punk, nor does her clothing line represent the punk sub-culture/style. Ugh, she contradicts herself so much that it's just irritating to even see her picture on a mag anymore.

I also hate Avril Lavigne, with a passion, that woman is horrible. She has absolutely no respect for her fans and sets herself up to be some punk goddess, when in fact there is nothing punk about her (except maybe her punk-ass attitude)
She is a complete poser and makes money from insulting people and acting like she is tough and unbelievably cool. I usually don't attack nor hate people to the lengths I go with Avril. But I have not seen this woman do one redeeming thing. Granted I do not know her in real life, but she has done nothing but bitch, whinge and moan her entire career.

Her music is pop music packaged into a punk-rock label. I think punk artists from back in the day would be hunting for her head. She is as fake as they come and the fact that she insults people like Britney Spears is hypocritical. At least Britney Spears isn't pretending to be something she isn't. As a matter of fact Britney Spears is probably, more talented than Avril.

Other musicians I dislike...

Not a My Chemical Romance fan I'm afraid. My sister is into them, but I find Gerard's singing voice, or lack of to be very off putting.

Anything with hardcore screaming vocals also pisses me off. They sound like they are giving birth to an elephant. I'm sorry but if I wanted to listen to that sort of noise I would go to the zoo. Or seek out my neighbours ^_~

As said before, Avril Lavigne. She tries to act all punk and everything, but fails on an epic scale. And the song "Girlfriend"...UGH! It needs to be sliced and diced, and so does she. That woman is just awful.

Miley Cyrus-Do I even need a reason?

Lil Mama-"MAH LIP GLOSS BE COOL!" Good God. The only people I've ever met that have actually LIKED that song were preteen girls.

Snoop Dog-First word that comes to mind is "street trash". I don't know how he even got popular.

Chris Brown-He tries to mix rap and pop together, and in the end it's just one big mess.

Switchfoot-Too much metal for me. You can't go through a single song of theirs without hearing something about psychos. I know that there are a lot of fans of them out there, and I'm sorry if I offended you people, I guess I just don't like metal.

How can anyone claim to be "punk" when they sound nothing like punk. GO figure.:neomon:

And I use to be a huge fan of theirs.......Same with fall out boy.....

I must say, I agree. Teeny-boppers everywhere are starting to become obsessed with FOB because of how "hot" Pete Wentz is, rather than for their sound. I was a FOB fan before they were big, but then became less as a fan just because it all started to sound the same and the fans got a tad annoying. (Not that that would stop me from liking something) Their new C.D. I must admit, is something special. I really, really enjoyed the new sound and creativity put into it.

I actually saw MCR live, and they were horrible. Gerard sounded like a chipmunk. I was disappointed since they're one of my favorite bands. I like their music when it's not live though, and their newest C.D. was mind-blowingly good IMO. I'm also the type of person that will like a band for their lyrics, but admit to disliking how it actually sounds. xD I was that way with MCR and some of their songs.

Kind of like Bullet For My Valentine--- I think their sound is great, but most of their lyrics are kinda sucky.

I use to like 'em too but that went downhill with their third album. -Their first album is sick though-

I heard their newest stuff too. And it sounds cool. I heard it on TRL's last episode and I was actually impressed with them doing a better job then what they did on their third CD.

The Pussy Cat Dolls. Those damn strippers (with one gay lad, I might add) who can't even sing. They put out posters of themselves half-dressed ("Would SOMEBODY PLEASE think of the children!?") and expect to get rich. My ears hurt whenever I hear their songs. Dreadful band.

Everyone doesn't like me including myself! I don't like Pete Wentz too. He's not a good bassist and he's a fag. But I do like some of their songs and Patrick's voice sounds good even if it's live^^

My least favorite band would be My Chemical Romance because they're too emo for me. I also heard their song live and it suck! It doesn't sound like the songs that they sing in the radio. Oh, and also Gerard Way and his crazy hair style! Dude, there are so many cool looking colors for your hair. Why the heck did you use white!?!

I can't stand Kings of Leon. Caleb Thingy-ma-bob has an awful voice. It sounds like he's being raped or otherwise tortured when he's singing, and it's just not a nice experience to listen to them. Annoyingly, Sex on Fire always gets stuck in my head. D:

Any of these modern dance bands, like The Guru Josh Project. I can't believe that people willingly listen to that stuff. Cascada is the worst for it though, because she just takes a good song, puts a repetitive beat to it and packages it as a "new" song.
 
I actually like Kings of Leon. I admit that Caleb Followill hasn't the best of vocals but he does have that distinctive southern sound which I like. Definitely not the worse when you consider the likes of Ricky Wilson or James Allan.

As for Fall Out Boy, they are okay but definitely not amazing. And I have seen videos of Fall Out Boy live and Patrick Stump sounded terrible.
 
I have a very big dislike to the kaiser chiefs, theyre so dull and their music has no rythm to it its just completely blah.

Pretty much any gang violence-promoting, rape-rewarding, drug-selling rap band. How the hell can anyone listen to those fags? They brag about shooting a police officer and shit like that when the closest they've ever gotten to a gun is a Super Soaker.
