Who or what was the inspiration for you being the way you are now?

Mine would have to be my father because he helped mold me, like my half-brothers, into a respectful and decent human being.
The wisdom he infused into me was and still is the most valuable thing in my life.

God, my parents...that's about it.

Learning "right from wrong", and all of life's lessons early is what shaped me into who I am today. Realizing that having common sense is more valuable than anything "book smart". When I need guidance, they're who I turn to without hesitation.

who inspired me... hmmm

well its not really who but the types of people... people who are decent and nice people to talk to about anything inspires me to do something similar. But alot of people here where I live are dickheads so I sometimes have to do the inspiring myself... lol

Well, that's good then, being an inspiration yourself is such a great thing.
Can't say the same for me though =\
I don't think I've inspired anyone in my life.

:) I am the same. However, excluding my dad since he's a damn pimp. No lesson or inspiration to be gained there.

Anyway, I learned and experienced a lot of hardships in my life, and I'm sure everyone has...but I am really thankful for the things I have learned because then in it came the various lessons that I am now still trying to learn.

My grandmother, shes basically my hero and my rock. She keeps me sane, yet at times she can drive you mental lol! Shes come from a working class background, came to another country to start a new life, raised 5 children with a difficult husband, gave to the coumminty, helped and still does help raise her 13 grandchildren and is just a kind soul.

Unfortunately, I've had no one to really look up to during my entire life. My mother has always been there, however I've only ever thought of her as a liability. I only see my father twice a month, if I'm lucky, and I only have one grandparent left. She's nice, but like my mother, she's another liability.

I don't know much of the rest of my family, so I couldn't possibly relate to them in any way. My friends were never something to model myself on, though I have picked up a trait or two from one of them. I call it 'mockery.' :p

I've only ever counted on myself, really. However, it's probable I've picked up pieces from various other people from around the world, and comprised myself out of their own lives. I do believe I'm more reliant on myself though.

My half-brother. He acted as a parent to me, since our parents were too busy fighting amongst each other to really care for my little sister and I. He encouraged me to draw and praised me on my growing efforts.

Now, according to him, I have surpassed even his level of drawing. I can only improve from here.

My inspiration?

My dad...he raised me by himself virtually my whole life. He's pretty contemptable and short tempered. lol. I don't think he was quite ready to be a father when he started having kids, but...we practically 'grew up" together. XD
I'd do almost anything for my dad.

My boyfriend. We've been together for two years now. He takes care of me in a way that none of my other friends can. He's honest with me, he's there for me, and he's 100% trustworthy, and an admirable person in my eyes. He's always rooting for me and encouraging me to do whatever it is that I aim for.

I could've sworn I said the same thing in another thread. :|

Anyways, great you guys, it's mostly relatives, and not TV personalities that inspired you to be who you are. Honestly, I don't see how people can be influenced that much by 'personalities' unless they are totally neglected, which I understand some kids are.
It's always nice to have a role model. :) Two thumbs up you guys.

My inspiration is mostly a drive to be completely and utterly self-sufficient in every single aspect of my life. I recognize that everyone needs help, and I'm smart enough to recognize where my own limits lie and when to start seeking that help. But what really motivates me is to try to overcome these things myself before I start leaning on someone else as a crutch. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. We're all capable of great things, all we lack is the drive to actually go out and do it for ourselves.

My Parents helped a lot with making me who I am.
They are generally nice people and I like to think I am generally nice.

My older brother helped a lot too. I look up to him and when I was little I'd do everything he did.
He set a good example
