Anime Your first Time?

I'm not sure, either DBZ or Pokemon. DBZ was shown on Cartoon Network whilst Pokemon was shown on ITV and Sky. It may of most likely of been Pokemon at that rate since Pokemon came out before we got cable if my memory serves me correctly.

I say five way tie because...Heck, I can't remember which one I watched first! x3;;

I started watching one piece first, someone recommended it to me. Am going to watch deathnote because Light is cool.
 
My first was Pokemon. That was years ago, but yup, I'm pretty sure Pokemon was my first. I still remember wondering what the hell Pikachu was the first time I saw him. I wanted to find out, so I watched the show.
 
My first one was probably Pokemon (was very young at that time) and it was followed by Digimon, DBZ ,Sonic X and later Inuyasha.

But at that time, I didn't really know the term "anime" existed, so for me they were just some another series. The first anime I watched after I learned about "anime" as a stand alone type of animation, was He Is My Master.
I really liked the pics I saw of it (the hot maid uniforms :P) and downloaded it. I have enjoyed it a lot and decided to start downloading Naruto as well.
Then Bleach, Claymore and I can't remember what next :).

around the grade3,4,5 all i watched was anime.

escaflowne, gundam, inuyasha, yugioh. etc.

after my sister bought me my first copy of shonen jump. and that was when i first read manga. and realized that i was an anime fan.

Even though by just mentioning this it may destroy any chance of credibility I will have at this forum, it was Sailor Moon.
Agro's Cartoon Connection (hosted by a talking brown monster no less) used to show it either on Saturdays or before school (I can not remember which) and I was stuck with it due to my older sister being a fan.
My first by choice though? Probably Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z. Stereotypical 90's child, what can I say? :D
 
I'm pretty sure the first anime I ever watch was Pokemon. Did I know what anime was at the time? No, but I did find out it was made in Japan a little latter on. However, it didn't hook me into anime. The anime that got me hooked was Eva.................enough said.
 
I think the very first anime I watched was Sailor Moon. I used to be so obsessed with that show until they took it off the air ;(
 
Dunno. Maybe Pokemon. Don't like it anymore, though. If not Pokemon, DBZ or Digimon. Pretty much the only shows I watched a while back. Same with the guy above me, I didn't know what Anime was until I was about 10, or so.

The first anime I ever saw was Samurai Pizza Cats on Agro's Cartoon Connection when I was really young. I used to love it so much! I then got into Sailor Moon when it made it's appearance and the one's everyone got into on release; Pokemon and DragonBall Z.

I'll always hold a special place for my beloved Pizza Cats.
Oh and Neon Genesis Evangelion, as my first more 'adult' anime.
 
To be totally honest, it was the Noozles, which was this show about magic koalas that aired on Nickolodeon when I was 3 or 4. I didn't know it was anime, however.

The first anime I really followed was DragonballZ, which I never would have watched, except it came on after ReBoot on Toonami. I watched a little Sailor Moon, too, but it wasn't really to my taste. I mostly watched it because I heard there were lesbians. Ahem. And then there was Gundam Wing, and my life was pretty much over after that.
