If you could make a 4-member party of your own of any ff characters, which ff characters would you choose and why?

Aerith - For her healing abilities, and magical power, Great Gospel + KOTR = Win.
Celes - Runic, it's an amazing ability, and Celes is a great fighter and magician.
Cloud - Omnislash, and I'd need a tank. He's also good with both magic and fighting.
Yuna - Aeons.
I think that would be a pretty well rounded party, 2 characters who are powerful with both magic and weapons, and two characters who are the best at what they do - healing and summoning respectively.

Squall - He was very strong on my FFVIII. He'd come equipped with a high level GF Shiva too!

Fran - In FFXII, I found her to be my best character. I know some disliked her, but she was great with the right weapons! (Just take away the bow and arrows please!)

Red was also decent.
HEALING
(I'd like this person to be a good fighter too for when necessary, and to have fairly decent defence.)
Uhm, I found Penelo or Ashe worked well for me. =) I just use more potions than healing magic.

FuSoYa- amazing with both Black and white magic so he can heal and damage no matter what the situation
Yuna- Aeons (need i say more)
Cecil (Dark knight)- he is a good damage dealer as his dark ability can hit all and his attacks are powerful
and as for my last character i would have ummm... cloud- no dream team is complete without him

Well, here's my party:
Cloud- kicks ass. Need I say more?
Yuna- She would serve as my white mage and keep my party in tip-top shape. Of course if I got in a bind, her aeons sure would come in handy as well xD
Tifa- Not only is she my favorite FF girl, but she has a really awesome limit break. Her fists of fury do pretty good damage as well.
Lulu- I'd use her black magic to help take down foes that have elemental weaknesses and the like. She'd definately come in handy.
So overall, I think this would be a pretty decent party. Set up like this I have two physical fighters and two magic users. Pretty good if I do say so myself. Tifa could even use magic if I needed her to ^^
