Help wtf is the eye inside Sin is that jecht's eye

I'm sorry for the title you guys and i don't know did you guys ask this already/before but wtf is the eye inside sin when you get inside or on the way inside sin is that jecht's eye?

I mean as you beat sin outside you can go inside sin and then there the eye appeared for a short/brief time i mean wtf what was that and what was that all about was it jecht's eye one of the people on youtube tells me he/she thinks it's yu yevon's eye and that's not jecht's eye.

And yes i have a youtube account as well if you don't mind please tell me what was it and if i recall i do have the game in my collection and it still confuses me and i think i beat the game already and i still don't know what the eye suppose to be thanks again you guys.

Been so long since i played this game...Do you mean the final boss you fight at the end? The one whom you attack with all your summons? thats Yu yevon. Hes the one who controls sin...i think. Wasnt he a summoner or something and he created sin and...I really really dont remember but i think its something like that. Its been so many years since ive played FFX and its one of my favourite games ever too. I still have my old ps2 copy but i haven't had a ps2 to play it on in 6 years. Sad times. When they release it in HD il be buying it fo sho. As long as it comes on disk and not as a downloadable game off the psn store. That will suck.

Someone more knowledgeable than me will easily answer this for you
 
It'd help plenty if you could find a video or picture that contains this 'eye' so we could know what you were talking about. I suppose Yu Yevon could have looked... like an eye? o.0
 
Do you mean Seymour's eye? When they first get inside Sin they see a bunch of pyreflies and a random image of Seymour (a close up of his face) appears and they go through the mirage of his eye. Is this what you're referring to?

yes as soon as you get inside you see/saw the eye for a short period of time so was it really Seymour's eye if it was how is it even possible since he is not even human anymore
 
It's Seymour. And he was consumed by Sin apparently. That's what they say in the game. He worked so hard to become one with Sin like Jecht was so he could be this all powerful monster with the ability to kill everyone, and in his mind, save them. I guess he believed he could become one with Sin and control it.
