  • Hey guys..i was thinking that all of us have been playing a lot final fantasy but it's almost impossibles to like/love all the cahracetrs from all the games..So here's the thing:i want to know which character you don't like and the reason why..i think this is gonna be fun.....x3 My opinion is that Tidus not the protagonist i expected for ff10..his whole image sucks and i think he is a pussy comparing to cloud or squall...
 
Vaan from 12 he was just so damn boring, he literally did nothing interesting he was boring poorly dressed and his voice annoyed the hell out of me, other than have a relationship with Penelo which led to his main story point the rescue. poorly done uninspired trash but maybe thats just my opinion.
 
I dunno.... Vaan was abit shit, but I only think that because he didnt feel liek a main character, if he was supporting then he wouldnt bother me...

Eiko annoyed me quite alot she was really irritating

Buuuuuut I think Ashe gets it for me, I really don't like her character, she's just a stuck up bitch. I dont care what her character has been through, it's no excuse to act like a twat to other people who have also been through shit...so yeah, her character pissed me off rather a lot and would probably be my least favourite character ever
 
Vaan defo! I really disliked him and he seems so 2D. I didnt see him as a main character, as Bambi said, more of a support character. His voice was so whiny and just peeved me off when he opened his mouth. So yeah worst character for moi is Vaan.

I completely agree with you here. Ashe was just a total bitch. She had this "me, me, me!" attitude that just annoyed the hell out of me. Everyone in the party had problems and they had been through a lot. Basch was wrongly imprisoned by his own brother and had his name pretty much dragged through the mud. He didn't act like a complete ass to everyone.

So yeah, Ashe is probably my least favorite character of the entire series.
 
Kimahri wasn't much of a character. o.o Seriously, I didn't see much of a reason for his being there other than to be Yuna's guardian. He wasn't annoying, but I didn't see a point to him.

As for annoying.. Lucrecia irritated me. I'm not sure why, but she really really did.
 
Vaan, on the whole he was shit no doubt about it. The fact that he was probably meant to be the lead character was probably the most annoying factor since at the end of the day he was just...there. He had no proper background, no personallity, nothing that would even make him stand out as a side character, let alone a lead one. He was just an annoying shit really >.>
 
Rinoa. She almost ruined FFVIII for me.

And Vaan, I'm afraid, not because he was a horrible character, but because he was never a character at all. Yet there his butt was through the entire game. Penelo too, I suppose, same reasons.

Pretty much everyone else I love.
 
i say tidus from ff10 , lets be honest , hes a complete whopper, his voice is shit and hes just too energetic , main characters for me are supposed to be dark and sensible and almost like a social outcast eg Squall from ff8 , i really liked this character he was such an ignorant prick which was so funny.

As much as virtually all the good guys in XII bugged me, I'm gonna vote for Squall.

I thought Cloud was a whiny little wuss the entire time I played VII and thought that SquareSoft would never dare to come close to that again, but then I picked up VIII.

Some irritated me, such as Vaan, Ashe, Zidane... Can't remember the name of the main girl in IX... Paine, Brother, Fran. But out of all of those, Squall definitely tops them.

Edit: Dagger! Yeah, she bugged me.
 
Wakka: his voice is just disgusting and he made FF 10 seem way to japanese with his personality holding scenes back just to get across a point that by the time you get to the calm lands you just don't care about anymore and just wish his brain would catch up with the story

Cloud: please tell me one thing he himself did in the game other then slash the villan right at the end of the game jack shit thats what and then even his past turns out to be fake everyone did everything for Cloud he was not tough at all Tifa probably goes famdom over him everynight what a wuss

Dagger: sweet nice girl to most people ecept her friends anyone close to her she treats like shit and that is mainly because she never knows whae hell is going on around her for most of the game what was she doing taking drugs the whole time

and last but certenly not least Tidus the worst person to ever do anything ever i don't even want to get into how bad he is and if you like him there is something wromg with you

She seemed to forced; she didn't seem real enough to me. And, imo, her attitude was kinda...lame xD

And I also completely agree with the Vaan concept. He was definitely not a strong main character. He didn't even really have a purpose of tagging along, either O. o
 
Please elaborate on why you don't like the character. Posts such as "I dislike Vaan, he's boring." are against the rules.

The two characters that got on my nerves the most- Aeris and Kimahri. My goodness... they were both so... UGH. I can't believe them. I mean, Aeris was brainless... and really, really annoying. She was always in the way, and acted smarter than she actually was. And Kimahri? So. Freakin'. Useless. It was the one part of ffx I dreaded. If they edited him out, I wouldn't mind in the least bit.

Absolutely horrid character design and the way he was written into the game's storyline just seemed so contrieved. There have been plenty of FF characters throughout the series that I did not care for, but Caith Sith is the only one that I passionately wish wasn't in the game at all.

You're not the only one. I loved X-2 Yuna and Rikku was cute. Paine was just...there. She didn't really fit in at all. It's like one of those animes where they try to represent every archetype even if it makes no sense.
I guess they just decided they needed a straightwoman for all the goofy antics of the Gullwings. But she just kinda bored me most of the time.

Apart from her line about Respect Points...that was cool.
 
Well I guess I could rant. To me everyone was there for the right reason in the series. They had to have Cait Sith 'cause you wouldn't expect a dopey idiot to be mole. Tidus was the crack fiend in X always saying "THATS IS AWESOME ZOMG LET'S DO THAT!!!" so yeah he can get annoying. Dagger represents the girl in real-life always giving you problems no matter how hard you try to help her. I can't defend Paine in any sense 'cause I haven't played X-2. Cloud wasn't really that whiney in VII he is a drama queen in dissidia. Squall has remained the same anti-social asshole through out each legacy. Aeris is just a sweet girl, but like most sweet girls they tend to be brain-dead (anyone know why they tried changing her name to Aerith i bugs the shit out of me). Wakka is actually the stereo-typical mexican, he kinda reminds me of an odd George Lopez with his voice hahahaha. Kimahri was just...there...I guess to look like a fierce defender of Yuna.

Also the one character I would have to hate would be Onion Knight in Dissidia. I cannot take him seriously at all.
