World of Ruin​


Description

Are you a Final Fantasy Fan? Are you a fan of Final Fantasy VI and wish for a place to "finally" be made for you and other FFVI fans? Do you wish of a nice, breezy place to chat and have fun?

Well, World of Ruin (Or WoR) is the place for you fans! It's the only FFVI community alive right now to be dedicated to FFVI, a great FF title, which earned awards!

At WoR, you can chat, post images, fanfiction and things like that and talk about FFVI, learn new things you've never known, see exclusive scans that are very hard to see and see them translated. WoR needs your help right now, she needs to grow into a big, strong forum! She's a baby right now, but she is pretty strong!

Now, if you are thinking "what else would we do on a FFVI forum?" well, there are other places. Like Fan Club zones, other FF zones, smaller but there and there are video game forums, music forums, graphic forums, a spam zone and a roleplaying zone!

WoR also has her own Wiki! Which is under construction, but she will be viewable soon and will get to have members join and edit the stuff they want and have a further place to discuss FFVI or any other FF titles.

So, please, help me help WoR and point fans and FF fans to this forum! I'm sure if you gave it a shot, you would love the forum!

The theme, right now, is only one. It's blue and black, but completely made to match the "old" FF style. If you click the banner or the URL, you will see what I mean. And in the future, there will be even more themes ranging from anime, games, books, movies and other FF titles! Anything! Make a suggestion, and it'll be done!

I'm finishing up the next theme, its a little hard when I'm not that good at graphicing, but I think its turning out nicely...I think.

I have added new BBCode and rep, thanks button and friendship buttons, its fun. Oh, a chatbox. We all love that, right? :awesome:

We now have so many new things! A new theme as well! I'm working on another that isn't related to 6 though, to help with other fans.

I could help you get more members...........I got two referrals today...........But I'm not sure if they will be active,because the two I referred today have not even done a post...............Have you tried advertising on other FF forums and youtube?

There is a place for other FF games. Its just FF6 has its own sub-section. :)

I tried other forums, but they mostly say they won't join 'cause its not Vb, which is messed up. :gonk: but they do say it looks very cool! lol

Thanks! Are you on the forum? Also...how would I advertise on youtube? You mean like making a video just for the forum? Well, I make a very high viewed FF6 video where I link back to the forum....
 
Make a youtube account dedicated to the forum,for example name it WorldOfRuin or WorldOfRuinForum............Then you can advertise on FF videos............Commenting on them saying hey,join this new forum check my channel out for more info.............And yes,perhaps you could make a video...........using Windows Movie Maker or something.


But I can't say how succesful it may be............
 
I could always use my youtube account "Magitek Studio" :) I'll get more views. :D
Although I don't own any video makers.... >.>
 
Use windows movie maker..........that's the easiest.......all you gotta do is import pictures of the forum and a bit of music---------simple.

The forum software has changed, loads of things have happened and have been added! Please, take a look! If you didn't like Zetaboards, I'm sure you'll love this software! Its beautiful! :D

Update!

The software is constantly being updated and the forum is being enhanced more and more! One of my moderators is working on a chat channel, I think that's what they are called, to go with the forum.

All previous links in this thread have been corrected to the new URL so people aren't confused. Its come to my attention however, that another FF6 Forum under my forum's name has come into light. Please know it isn't the original. My forum is far older (was on Simple Machine before this, but it was a little faulty until recently, so I went to the freeware) and is the original.

I am currently learning how to make a SMF theme, but its a bit hard. But this one is going to be modeled after the really loved (which surprised me! lol) Blue Hawk theme on the Zetaboards forum. For a reference of the old themes, you can always go back to the top link and check out the old forum. :)

Come on and join the forum! I'm sure you'll love it! Plus there are a lot of themes for those who have sensitive eyes or a colour fav. xD

It FINALLY happened! A nice, neat URL for my forum. No more sub-domain business, no sir! Its not just a direct URL with nothing else after! Yea! I'm happy! :33

From the move, only two themes work. Its pretty late here so I will wait until tomorrow to install the other two themes the old forum had. What's even better is that you don't need to reset your password! The bad part is...well, its not bad but you need to reupload your avatar if it was uploaded off your PC >.>

The forum would be very pleased to see more members! Don't be shy ;)

I can't believe I haven't been updating this or advertising it as much lately. :( There has been such a huge flourish in FF6 fans, so here's hoping they see this! :mrgreen:

And remember, we have sections for others too! We have anime, manga, tv, writing, art etc etc sections. And a roleplaying one. :neomon:
