What a bunch of retarded idiots

Im having a new kitchen fitted in afew weeks and one of the blokes came round today just to let me know how long it's gunna take blah blah

He said I eed to hae my kitchen empty for when they arrive

Oh ok, I said no problem......wait a minute, does that mean my appliances aswel?

Apparently the workmen are reluctant to move anything incase they get the blame for 'breaking' something

So they seriously want me to disconnect and move my GAS cooker, washing machine, fridge Freezer & dryer ALL BY MYSELF

I'm sure theres a whole bunch of health and safety issues there. Why do housing assosiations have to be so damn retarded
 
Why don't you get your boyfriend and some of his friends to help you. Its not there fault they just don't want to pay for anything extra.
 
I don't have a boyfriend and they are the ones re-fitting the kitchen they should move the heavy stuff not me
 
What about army blokie? or offering to sleep with them if they do the extra?

Actually I bet thats what they are waiting for! :P
 
They may have some forms you can sign so that the workers will do the moving for you, but that'll mean that you waiv the right to hold them liable for any breakages.
 
Well, I can't do it by myself so if I sign something and they do make any breakages I think Il end up going on a rampage

As for army guy, I think im looking for a relationship, whereas he isn't so...I might have to knock it on the head -_- So, no, I won't be getting him to move any of my stuff
 
The folks that redid my kitchen a few years back moved my shizz for me, and they did a wonderful job. :D Just jab 'em in the ribs hard enough, and maybe they'll agree to do the dirty work for ya.
 
they can press charges for that. also, they might booby trap the kitchen so youll fall thru the floor. i suggest you give me ur home address so i can come over and help...if ur in america and ur in the tri-state area of Connecticut. if not, i cant help u :neomon:

also, i left u a user note, if you havn't noticed. and those housing associations are major fuck-ups :wacky:

Im pretty annoyed by it all actually, that bloke said it too me as though Id be able to shift all this stuff by myself. He just got a WTF face

Im still waiting for my bathroom to get fitted and that was over a year ago. Bunch of half a jobs I tell you

they are workmen, they didnt exactly come top of the class at school:wacky:

maybe you could ask them nicely if would help you to move the stuff.

or just get all your friends to help you

I'd tell 'em to break whatever they want. Just get that crap moved. You're gonna have a hell of a time getting that stuff out of there.

That's a pretty lame reason. "We're afraid we'll get blamed for breaking something." They're probably just lazy.

It's not even LEGAL for me to move my gas cooker it means disconnecting it from the gas. Corgi registered? NO, I don't think i am.
 
The bloodyworkmen came yesterday, unexpected like, well, i knew the sparkies were coming but I had no idea they were gunna come rip my kitchen apart -_-

5 hours I went without electric and my house was left in shambles. I had all the contents of my kitchen in my house - put it all away when they left and they didn't warn me the plasterer was coming today so it's all back in my livin room :dry:

I want to go out ffs....I hope this doesn't take as long as yesterdays debacle....I guess I should be grateful I have my lekki today -_-
 
Can you believe I am still having workmen issues :stare:

I've been waiting to get my living room re-plastered for like, AGES so the dude finally comes round today and asks what needs doing.....er, all of it

He looked at me like a bloody retard and said but Im only down to do a metre you will have to re arrange for an inspector to come look at it. So off he trots.....Im going to rip my dado rail off now, give the fool more to plaster when he comes back :dry:

Oh yay.....back to square chuffing one and Im STILL waiting for my bathroom to be fitted and my garden to be done, I think I 'l have to ring them back and yell summore...although I might wait til tomorrow for that :stare:
