I've had a browse on this, I was hoping to get some use out of the ol' Wii and I've discovered there's quite a few games on there I want.

Donkey Kong Country
Super Mario 3
Super Mario World
Ghouls and Ghosts

I've already forgot others I've seen that I want, so I guess this thread serves as a wish list/reminder... also recommendations for titles on there....

Oh, there's a butt load of Zelda games on there, never played any of them, and I was wondering if there are any must haves on there

Oh, I just distinctly remember a pal with a zelda game on the 64 and i annoyed some chickens. was more than one released on that console?

p.s. im not made of money, i just want maybe one or 2, im looking to pass the time with summat fun, not get the entire back catalogue of some game or other

The Virtual Console range of games isn't bad at all when you look at it. It's great for those in particular who haven't had a chance to play through classic games before. The WiiWare thing - not so much. There's a few decent titles in there, but its selection is mostly hit and miss.

So yeah, the Zelda games are a must-have. The second one however, perhaps not as much, but it probably won't hurt to try it out if you have points to get rid of (I have yet to). I heard that it's radically different from the others. Not really sure if that's in a good or bad way, but seeing as that game seems to be a bit of an anomaly, I suppose it's probably not a very good Zelda game.

You can also throw in the obvious ones to the list - Castlevania, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, the Mario Bros. games, Metroid, Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3, Street Fighter II, F-Zero, Megaman etc.

Oh yeah, there's Secret of Mana if you fancy a good RPG. There's that Mario RPG somewhere I believe and a rather interesting one I've played from Enix - ActRaiser, which is like a city building kind of game combined with 2D platforming.

Just pick what looks interesting I guess.

You can get the sequel to Final Fantasy IV. I still have not beat it and I think it goes in episodes. Though its a good game. You should check it out

Uhhh did it come out in Europe? I am not so sure if it did but check again. Did you try searching the F section? Its called Final Fantasy IV the After years.

After Years should be there under the WiiWare section, because it's a new(ish) game. If you're in the Virtual Console section, then you're looking in the wrong place.

And err...I wouldn't really rush to get After Years. To be honest, once you've played FFIV, you will probably find this to be rather dull. And the whole package isn't cheap at all, so it's not really worth it. A few chapters may be alright, but not the whole thing.

I really only have the main one you get which is Ceodore's episode I think. Meh it isnt that bad. I did not buy any of the other character episodes that become available when you buy the game. To me the story is alright. I am currently stuck and wish to pass it one day. I think the game just became too hard that I stopped. Have you played it Olivia?

All of them are awesome and fun, even though ActRaiser is a little strange. Mega Man 2 is kind of hard though.
