Why is it called Football?..

People often forget that football originated in England.

Why question it? It's called football for one simple reason!

Players. Kick. The. Ball. With. Their. Feet.

Excluding the goalkeeper. I'm not having a go at anyone in particular, but that's why I think it's called football.
 
Ah right, sorry bout that. Maybe the names of soccer and football should be reversed then. Makes more sense that way.
 
Idk why its called football other then you do quick the ball a quarter of the time [field goals (after a touchdown or at anyother time) , kickoffs]. What would you rather call it? Handball? to bad that sounds stupid :monster:
But i do think that soccer should be called football because you do use your feet most of the time (and yes i know some countries doo)
