Why do I have bad rep?

Hi why do I have bad rep? I hardly come on here and when I do I'm not a big time poster and will only ask questions about certain parts of the game I'm stuck on...? I didn't notice it before but I have red gems :s I'm pretty sure its not a result of people negging me
