If you where in the game which side would you be on?

Cloud Or Sephiroth, and why?

I say why because it would be awsome to be on Sephiroth side.
And you could be on his cool side and he would teach you how to fight.
And I would be able to fight Cloud and the gang.

What about you?
 
cloud, because I like him and his ideals more I guess. Plus, Sephiroth wants to destroy all human kind, which isn't cool.

To stay on topic and play nice... I'd have to say Cloud's side. I couldn't ever see me fighting for the side of bad things. I'm not the nicest guy you'll ever meet but my biggest crime is insensitivity... not murder and mayhem. So yea, I can't ever see being on the bad guy's team. Also, if Cloud is so dumb to pass up Tifa, you know I'd be on that. I would be ALL up on that. ;) Hell yes

To be a little critical of the topic, I'm not sure Sephiroth would take anyone on his team. He used the clones and threw them away. But he never liked them or cared about them. Jenova gave him a natural instinct to try and destroy the world and all of that... but I don't think that once he surpassed her "control" that he ever really cared about her. I'd find it hard to argue that even when he was hell bent on doing her will that he was ever fond of her. I'm not sure you could ever really "be on his side". I think it's kind of a moot point. He'd just cut you down for even asking. At least that's my thought.

I agree with your thoughts on Sephiroth. He probably wouldn't allow you to tag along with him.

I would go with this because you be with the almighty Sephiroth and you could beat cloud and them up.....but vincent would be a challenge but not for Sephiroth.....but he wouldn't allow any fooling around....
 
Considering Sephiroth's selfish goal, I'd side with Cloud. However, should that not be the case, I'd probably side with Sephiroth. Why? Fighting alongside such a beast would be pretty nifty. I'm not exactly a coward, but I can't say I'd be jumping at the chance to fight the likes of Sephiroth and/or Jenova.

I'm not murderous, but I couldn't possibly say whether that'd stay true if my goal was set in stone, and all I had to do was slash up a few people.

Ruling over an entire planet? Oh come on. Sweet deal. ;p
 
Haha and sorry to steal your line about Tifa. I didn't read it when I went to post. I tell you what. I'll do all the work seducing her, you get her on the robound when I move on to Yuffie. Hahaha
 
I would side with Cloud, of course. I mean, Sephiroth is a cool guy and all, but I just wanna be with Cloud mainly because I'm like in love with him! Hahaha. Who wouldn't wanna fight beside their lover? ;) Not that he is, but he shall be mine! Bwahahaha!

Anyway, seriously, I don't side with the bad guys. I'm the type that would actually help save the world. (I even took Environmental Science AP class in high school!) Siding with Sephiroth is just ridiculous for me. Why would I want to destroy the world? I have many loved ones that lives here, including myself! Lol. So yeah, there's my logic. ^_^
 
Sephiroth's side consisted of murder and total obsession with Jenova which assisted in his turn to teh evil side. I'd rather be training to stop something like Meteor from ruining the planet as opposed to being on the side that supports the total destruction of all the living races.

Cloud's team for me.
 
Cloud's team because they defeated Sephy, no sense being on a losing team is there? Plus Id rather fight on the side of good then evil.
 
I'm not sure. If Sephiroth was only going to enslave the world and not destroy it then i'd probably join with him, but otherwise i'd join with Cloud.
 
Yeah I mainly saw Sephy as being independent. The bad guys in FF7 were Shinra and I'd rather tag along with them, mainly because Rufus kicks ass and the Turks rock as well.

The only bad thing about FF7 is not getting the chance to fight Rufus again :(

I'd join Clouds team - after all why side with someone who wants to destroy the world? realistically the good guys always win so i'd join the team that i'd have a better chance of survival in - ive got nothing against sephiroth but Cloud ftw.

And Cloud has a wing in KH because it ties in with his KH story - KH has nothing to do with FFVII Canon whatsoever.
 
Maybe but KH encompasses all worlds in its story and i think it plays off the rivalry between Cloud and Sephiroth perfectly. The wing represents Clouds ties to Sephiroth so really it transends game cross overs as it only shows what is already there anyway. Its a metephor.

I came in here to post the same thing. Sephiroth would be kind of annoying, honestly, since he's a bit mentally instable as you can see in much of his dialogue and behavior. Plus, as it has already been brought up, he probably would rather not have anyone on his side. The good guys...meh. To much drama. I'd like Shinra...a sinister group with more money than they know what to do with, bent on becoming a more and more poweful nation. Plus the turks are easily the baddest gang in a FF game, ever.
