Who won the festival of the Hunt?

....Vivi kicked me and made fun of Zadaine's tail
Okay I don't know how it happened but for me, Vivi won. Whoa...I suck ,_.;;

Vivi will easily win if you KO both Zidane and Freya.


I went with Freya each time, of course. Coral Ring is by far the better reward, though it can be quite hard to get Freya to win, stay alive, and steal Zaghnol's items. >_< Alas, 'tis worth the effort.
 
I let Freya win because of the coral ring, with that item you would be able to do the Quina lvl5 death on grand dragons without being worried about the level 3 thunder spell.
 
I usually won it as Zidane, though I think the first time through Freya ended up winning it.

Zidane got gil, which came in pretty handy considering where you were going next afterwards as far as items went.

Zidane. I made sure Zidane won by getting the Double Edged Sword forged at the weapon smith before the Festival XD
 
Lani is the bounty hunter who is sent by Brahne later in the game to capture Garnet, you meet her in Fossil Roo and again in Madain Sari. Amarant works with her to start with before switching sides. I think it's the same person as is mentioned in the Festival anyway.
 
Freya-Coral Ring just owns the gold that Zidane got-however, I never did figure out what Vivi got...
 
If Vivi wins, you receive a lovely... card. I let Zidane win for my pride's sake. It's very easy to win with him :)

I've never thought of that, that's a great idea. Maybe I'll try harder to let Freya win next time through :P
 
I think that even after destruction (especially after destruction) Lindblum should have continued to have the festival, for town spirits and what-not. Also because it's fun as hell. At least when you're in close second place, it is.

Then you could go back and start the hunt whenever you wanted. That would be completely bad ass.
 
Zidane won, although I didn't think he would tbh as I was behind right until that last monster that gave me 87 whole points. I really wanted Freya to won for the item but I couldn't help myself >_>
 
It's set up so that only Zidane, Freya or Vivi win. The best way to let Vivi win is to get to the battle with the Zaghnol, kill Freya then kill Zidane. I always let Freya win for the Coral Ring though. I can't remember which card Vivi gets but I'm pretty sure you can get it again later.
 
I had a little strategy and certain places that I would go that would always guarantee my winning. Which was nice. :3 Although the very first time I played the game Freya won for me.
 
Zidane, the other prices are pointless, and is Lani even in the festival of the hunt???
 
I've always had Zidane win, for prides sake :)
However, when my mate returns IX to me tomoro, ima let Freya win. It seems that the coral ring is the sex at that stage.
