When i defeated the Ruby Weapon i did a victory dance and sang hellyes im the best in the world! lol Obviously, thats not true...anyway i was just wondering how many others defeated it?

On my first play I could not beat him because I was low leveled and didn't know what the hell I was doing but on my second play through I got all the materia, high levels etc and it was a piece of cake.

i have not but there is a trick to it

you kill two of your characters leaving one who can use life 3 or full life and enter the battle wait for ruby weapon to submerge his claws and then revive your party and pwn his ass

I wish I would've known that trick back when I was pulling my hair out over this damn thing! I eventually managed to defeat it, I was so happy *sniff*

the Desert rose was easy to kill when you killed off 2 of your characters but have you tried bringing them back to life to beat them? I was never successful at this trick but im sure someone has

Yeah, as long as you are a decent level he's not that hard.
