Which game should I get?

Okay, so, because I am a subscribed to my local game store's emails and the like, I get some pretty awesome deals, and I recieved a pretty notable one this morning. Needless to say, I am going to be getting Heavy Rain soon, and will be getting a large discount on a used games because of it. Now, I have no idea which one I should pick now. Opinions? :hmmm:

The first game I have been considering is Star Wars The Force Unleashed. I saw they have added alot of DLC as well as trophies since it's release (which is when I played it) which qualifies it for another run, I think. I have been craving a good hack and slash lately.

The second is Resident Evil 5. I beat the crap out of this game when it first came out, but I played it so much I made myself despise it, so I got rid of it. Now I am finding myself wanting to play it again. I have the platinum trophy already in this, but none of the online gameplay ones, not to mention this is a game that people here own! So I would have something to play with 'you people' :ryan:

Lastly, I have been considering Uncharted 2. I played the first game, and absolutely loved it, and don't really have a reason to offer of why I havn't picked up this one. I have played the demo, and thought that was very impressive, and pretty hilarious if I might add (Nathan is the man!), but I'm not too sure how much gaming I'll be putting into this one for now. Can't say I'm too driven for this one atm. :hmmm:

Rep for any decent advice? :)
 
In my opinion ... none of them. Res Evil 5 was a big dissapointment for me and should not have been made. It was too much like 4 and was so frustrating. Sta Wars was good for about an hour, then started to piss me off. There was too much going on the screen for me, so left it. Uncharted 2 I havent played, but it looks amazing. But I prefer my RPG shooters like Mass Effect.
 
Since you have played the others and have done a lot in them already, I’d suggest Uncharted 2. A lot of us here own and play Uncharted 2 as well, and they have now added quite a few multiplayer trophies. If you loved the first game, then you should love the second one too, as I find it quite a big improvement.

But if you say that you’re not that interested in it at the moment, then perhaps you should go for the others.

I've not played Force Unleashed since they did the trophy update, and I haven't downloaded any of the DLC, so I can't comment on what the DLC and trophies add to it. It's a fun game, and you seem to have enjoyed it in the past.

RE5 I haven't played, but from what I've heard and seen it is very good, and you say yourself that you "beat the crap out of the game". I guess you have to decide how much you really want to play this again, and figure out if you think you will get bored of it again after a few weeks. You already have the platinum, but if it is the online play you are considering getting it for, then perhaps there is enough to keep you occupied, but I can't say as I haven't played the RE5 online myself.

I guess what it depends on really is if you feel like having a fresh new experience, or if you want to essentially replay a game you have already played with a few bonuses. If you don't feel like playing a new game at the moment, then decide whether you realy want to play with people here online (if so, get RE5), if you want to play a single player game you loved and also go on a trophy-fest (if so, go for FU). If you are thinking about a new game and new experience, then Uncharted 2 would be the better option and there is plenty online FFF'ers can do on there too, but since you're getting Heavy Rain which would be new for you, you might not want to split your focus between the two games, and instead might want one of the other two games you are more familiar with.

It's a tough choice really, but I guess you have to figure out what you are really looking for, in addition to Heavy Rain; a new game, a replay, or online of a game you've already played. It depends on which you most desire at the moment.
 
I'm not so sure, to be honest, I have Resident Evil 5 but haven't played it and I was entrigued by the look of Uncharted 2. Whatever you prefer, I'd say Uncharted 2. It is up to you, but I prefer the style of Uncharted.
 
Out of the list I'd say Uncharted 2 could be a stick on choice. It's better than Uncharted and has multiplayer, plus it's arguably one of the best games of all time. It's won a stupid amount of awards as well which proves how good it really is. I think it ended up winning "Best Game Overall of 2009" something like 15+ times. Go for Uncharted 2. (y)
 
I think I've pretty much decided. I'm going to go ahead and get Uncharted 2, that way I can at least say I've beaten all three! Although, it may suffer neglect as chances are I will be whoring myself to Heavy Rain :hmmm:

But that's just a temporary thing. Heavy Rain can't afford the long term plan, I don't think. I'm expensive. /end prostitution pun
 
Heavy Rain looks like a totally amazing break through game. And one that needs to be owned by possible everyone! I may get a PS3 purely for it and Little Big Planet.
