Shiva's not in this game. Yojimbo and Anima are only from Final Fantasy X, so naturally they wouldn't be in this game either. Bahamut, Gold Bahamut, Odin and Phoenix are however.
They could have been a good part of the game, but like it has been mentioned they weren't part of the VII compilation so they would never have been put in Crisis Core anyway. As for the reel I liked it (although there is another thread about that).
I'm not sure which summons I've got even though I only played it a couple of hours ago >.<
I definitely have Ifrit and Bahamut
But Yojimbo and Anima is from FFX. xD And as for Shiva, I was a little disappointed that she wasn't in there, but I think they wanted to keep the summons limited and decided that Odin, Phoenix and a few others would do well without Shiva. It's really no big deal, to be honest. My thoughts were, "Oh man, no Shiva...oh well."
What Pools said.
It's like Cait Sith, he was the most pointless summon I've yet to come across (if he counts as a summon...he's a bit like the chocobo one) purely because he raises confidence or something stupid like that...and to me, it seemed to have no affect on anything.
eva although i was more of a FF8 person and only played FF7 for one or two hours agree with u which is y they should just keep the real warriors in and take out the small fry
It didn't really need all that many summons because the main story isn't that long anyway, plus the oddds on getting matching a DMW would be smaller which would hack me off even more than it already does.
No point in me adding why Yojimbo and Anima werent in there seeing as it's already been covered....haha
Actually the Chocobo and Cait Sith are not summons, they are an 'alternative' reel on the DMW and work like Limit Breaks. The summons are on an entirely different reel and you can get those by doing Hojo's missions. Warning though, these missions are pretty hard.
