So Ive just got the blue narciss (w/e it's called) and I FINALLY have my group all in one place and I wanna do abit of training, Im more interested in getting AP than EXP atm, Im trying to get everyone to learn everything available and then just switch memebrs then move on withthe story

Im currently running up and down the Iifa tree which seems pretty decent atm, but is there anywhere better?

And yes, Iv'e equipped ability up or whatever it is >_>

A double whammy is if you learn Quina's level 5 death spell - eat a zombie whale thing on beach of the north eastern continent. you can kill grand dragons with that above the moogles in gizamaluke. you got lots of exp and 3 ap.

If you just want ap, go looking for creatures of gaia or something, the mu, the ladybird, the ghost etc about 11 ap a pop.

That involes actually finding them though, I have found 3 so far I think.....don't they just randomly pop up ....?

I don't think I have lvl 5 death either -sigh-

Where can I eat that from?

Eat a Whale Zombie, Onna beach, near the desert palace. thought i said:P

They're kinda random i think but im sure there's something about saving and then searching for a random fight then repeat til you find them in the right place. maybe. that might be the raggy mouse or something.:neomon:

Ugh, Im not with it at all today, I suppose if I go hunting for those monsters it'l give me something to do, the Iifa trees not been to bad it justs gets boring running up and down the trunk.....

I wish I could swap Zidane out of my party, he has no more abilities left to learn -__-

Haha i know its such a waste! Did you stay by the Iifa to exact revenge on zombies for what they did to you the first time?

I just went look for things to eat to kill time and level up. by the desert there's sand worms and they give you 2-3 AP too.

Other than that you just gotta tough it out!^_^

Would you believe I have just walked into a fight with a gaia monster effort, win :monster:

And yes, I was in there for zombie revenge, although I still need to go back and get Quina to eat one....

I hope this baby gives me some decent AP, then Im off to roam for others

EDIT* She give me 30ap -does a little dance-

SEE! Ask and you shall receive!

Just remembered, the Grand Dragons are pretty mean, they can wipe out your whole party  so best save often. And equip things that protect against thunder, and poison ability. But then you want the AP on other equipment! ah, i think this is what I encountered!

oh well, good luck!

As soon as I get the Blue Narciss, I always head straight for the Esto Gaza region and fight Vepaals. I equip my team with Red Caps so Blizzaga does no damage and I equip the Temperature ability to keep them from freezing my party. Not only is it good AP, but you can get really good cards from them. :)

I'm already 60 odd hours in, I think I blew that chance hours ago...haha

There's no WAY I'd ever be able to do that, I dawdle to much. I faffed around killing sand worms for a while, they gave me 3 AP each, I just need to eat one now... I've switched members now and I'm just gunna do some levelling as I go through the desert palace. Steiner has a shed load of abilities to learn so he's gunna be in my party for a good while -__-

When I was strictly after AP, I put the double AP ability on and did the friendly monster side quest. First one gives you like 20 then 30 then 40 then 50 or somethin like that. I learned half my abilities off of the friendly monsters everytime I play through.

The other half of the AP I earn on the beach by Esto Gaza, only enemies on the beach is the squid and the Zombie Whale, both are real easy and I think they both give you 3 AP, I know the whale does for sure.

If you're on a high enough level, just run around on the chocobo lagoon island getting high EXP and AP from Grand Dragons and a pretty good amount of gill from the Gimmie Cats.

Either Memoria or the little cliff area by the Danguerro library where those Red Dragon's pop up every other battle.

I actually decided to go crazy and kill a load of Grand Dragons above those moogles and actually managed to defeat a few, I just kept going up and down healing when necessary and actually managed to get to level 50 after aroung 5-6 hours of grafting :D

I remember levelling up on that cliff with the Grand Dragons, and of course the little island with the Yans :) Best place for levelling up

Even after I got the eyeball ship, I still trained on Grand Dragons. I tried going to the yans, but they were just too evil and deadly. I didn't stand a chance. I'm pretty slow with my decision making, so I never have enough time before they throw a meteor or something at me.

Eventually Grand Dragons got easy and boring, but they were still worth the time to get your levels up.
