Stupid fucken show. Have any of you nobodies seen it? It's terrible. Most of the time, the shitty dressed people actually like their typical way of dressing, but if they express that in any way, those morons whose names escape me judge them hard for it. I understand if those people truly don't know what they're doing and want to learn, but making them feel like a smelly asshole is going too far. Like yeah, okay, because there's only one way all men and women should dress. Fuck that shit. If some stupid bitch wants to wear a retarded hat with stripper heels and a summer dress because it makes them feel most comfortable, then let them. If they want some help, lend them a hand. Don't spit on their faces, tell them they're worthless pieces of shits for liking those clothes and make them wear trendy, boring shit that nobody would pay attention to.

Owned.

I alwyas hated it. theyre alwyas so far up their own arses.

Oh we need to take you into town so you can get some real shirts.
Shaddap theres nothing wrong with what hes wearing anyway. Maybe he likes it? Also why do they alwyas slam them for their house clothes? Hes lounging about the house he doesnt have to be kitted out in armani gear to sit about and watch the bloody tv.

Exactly, like wtf? I understand them wanting to direct them to better work clothes so they no longer have to embarrass their bosses, but shit man. If they wanna wear a wife beater with grease stains all over the place and boxer shorts in the privacy of their own home, then who gives a shit? Nobody but these shallow bitches, that's who

I actually like the show. some of those people are not dressing appropriately for their line of work. Such as a girl that was wearing jeans and a tee shirt to a business job. That or she was dressing in a way that her dog would look good next to her skirt. Or the day care center worker that was dressing way to skanky for her job. Stacey and Clinton helped her find a style that was still sexy but not showey. the show helps me too. i've figured out how to wear clothes that will look good on me. (tailored jackets, where things should cut on me.

And any contestant that I have seen on the show has been happy with their change.

Fake TV, gotta love it. 'Reality' shows are scripted, edited to death and then aired to promote exactly this kiind of reaction! You hate it but will tune in next week. Lots of happy execs! Personally, I love those kind of shows, it's great to feel superior to some idiot who just made several thousand dollars for following what the director tells them to do! Oh wait, who are the real idiots again?

Edit: Catnip, love the proflie pic, black books was my fave show!

That's only what you see, bro. Most of the people end up going back to what they wore originally because they were more comfortable with that. I heard stories about them returning to their shitty clothes casually, but I'm not sure if they actually wear that shit to work.

Dude, fuck that shit. I never watch that stupid show. My sister watches it when there's nothing on and we're always in the same fucken room.

I was serious ! It's mind wank TV, I love it but I do see it for what it is. I've read most of the classics but what am I reading now? Assasin's Creed:Rennaisance! It's bollocks but fun. Check those reality shows out, it's good to turn the brain off once in a while!

Where is your source for people returning the clothes they bought? How do you know that they actually returned the clothes? Stories are one thing but are they true?

The show visited them at work and they were not dressing appropriately. In some cases, their co workers even called the show.

a source :lew::lew::lew::lew:

Ratting on people for the way they dress is pathetic. Seriously. Unless the person is a smelly bastard leave them alone and let them be. Wer free to wear what we like.

I'm not going to go hunt down some links for you. Sorry, man, but that's not going to happen.

You can try looking up some chick from The Big Bang Theory named Mayim Bialik. She was on the show and guess what? Still dresses like shit cause that's what she likes.

I think a lot of the time they do stick with the new clothes--I mean even if they didn't like it, it's $5,000 worth of free clothes, and I doubt a lot of people would want to just let that sit there. The only times I've seen anyone really not like something is with their haircuts, a lot of times they do look worse than the original and they're like "Oh, it'll make you look more your age" and it makes them look like, 50 instead of 30 or something :hmmm:

TBH I'm not a huge fan of the show because I dress completely outside the norm most of the time, and I wouldn't want people telling me that my way was wrong and making me throw away my old clothes just because they don't fit in with the styles and trends of the era, and making me feel like I need to fit in with that rather than being myself. However, if you're working at a very formal place, you do need to play their game sometimes if you have no influence on the dress code in order to keep your job, so it can help a lot of people with that sort of thing. Also, their general advice, such as not wearing "Mom" jeans (tapered leg that comes up above your waist and makes your butt look 5x larger than it actually is) is good advice; also, trying to explain how to choose clothes that are the right size for you, like with jackets, so that they're not stretched across you too tightly because that can make a person look heavier than they are, etc. Even though I don't care for most of the new outfits I've seen on the show, one thing that does seem fairly consistent is that they are good with making overweight people dress in a way that makes them look thinner :hmmm: And I can tell you from having been overweight in the past that it is harder to buy clothes when you are, because most of the best-looking stuff is only made in small sizes, because I guess the fashion designers just assume "oh, well if people are overweight then they're not capable of looking good anyway, so let's just ignore making our clothes in their sizes" and that sort of thing :hmph:

Kinda OT, but it isn't about the people themselves. Fashion designers just think that their clothes look better on thin people. If someone's blouse was worn by a bigger girl and she made it look unflattering, people might be turned off. They don't give a shit about human beings and what they want. They only care about themselves and their image.

Then don't make a claim if you can't or are not willing to back it up. I can't take what you said their seriously because you won't bother confirming it.

But I do think Stacey and Clinton have good advice. They actually advise not being a trend chaser because trends are too hard to keep up with and they do not look good on everyone. And they do try their best to keep up with someone's style. There are even people that want their help and are grateful that they showed up at the start of the show.

I also learned how to shop for dresses and jeans from watching the show. I always dreaded shopping beforehand because I was always disappointed when I would try something on in the fitting room because I did not know how to size.

its like, they want everyone to wear the same shit.. and its like fuck off, we're all fuckign different. just becasue you thionk my frog hat looks ridiculous doesnt mean im gunna stop eariong it, its MEANT to look stupid :rage:

And like, they expect folk to look glamorous every single day. So, what if folk jut wanna throw on their comfiest jeans, which in my case happen to be tatty as fuck? I cant be arsed breaking my back in a so called nice outfit with back breaking heels

Stuck up their own arses and too concious about what other folk think

fair enough if the dudes in an image rut, but there's no need to be rude, advice, fair enough but not you MUST wear this and you MUST throw those horrid jeans int he bin

take my jeans i take your eyes oot
