Hello all, Néar* signing on. I've been mildly aware of this website for a while now, but my all-encompassing laziness and my love for procrastination got in the way of my signing up until, well, now.
Anyway, a little about me, I suppose. At the time of this paragraph's composition, I am a 20 year old university student that hails from Florida, which I affectionately refer to as America's Wang. I have recently earned my A.A., and will soon be transferring to the University of West Florida (UWF), where I will be majoring in Media Arts and Graphic Design. Once I graduate, I will most likely attempt find a job in the game development field, get bored, and go back for my Masters.
Outside of academics, I'm a fairly large fan of music. I've been playing the guitar since I was twelve (I received my first guitar on my twelfth birthday, actually), and I've been playing the piano for almost as long. I'm also attempting to become more proficient at the drums, and I would say that I'm making excellent progress. I also enjoy opening strange doors, climbing trees, shooting at things when no one is looking, and of course, games, primarily Final Fantasy (obviously), Zelda, Halo, WoW**, etc.
Well, that's about all for now. Hopefully I'll be able to stay around and become a little more prolific. And with that, I bid you adieu.
