I've been thinking about things that have been heavy on my mind as of late about the American infrastructure, and it's been bugging me that the progression of the past 8 years has spun into a downward spiral.
This will be an informal rant, but combined hopefully tactfully with debate topics. If you feel the want to say, "Shu you are insane" then go for it, though do it in a con post, and support your points. I'm all about a good debate. Yes, if you are not from America, you can do the same about your own government, but be a bit odd to hint and suggest things about a different country if you don't see day in and day out the "actual" wrongs, not what you so see fit on the BBC or any other news broad cast stations.
So I told myself I would never open myself up to political debate, due to the circular logic people seem to insist on using, but meh.. again it won't leave my head, so might as well share.
Getting to the points, I believe America is on a destination to a huge colossal failure, and dissimulation will ensue within the next 20 years. The reasons I support are because of the overwhelming population and resource control paranoia that we so fit to have. We will in fact run out of gas in certain areas, and unless a more prominent form of energy is found, there will be more cost inflation and more job market crashes.
So furthermore more occupy Movements - People may say that we've always had protesters and there is nothing new about it. Though what people may not understand now is that, it's even the middle class who eventually are becoming lower class, not just students and hippies and liberals. Everyone is following suit slowly enough that our own government is literally taking money out of our pockets to fund ... who? Taxes are one thing, but do you ever question where your federal taxes are going? Do you ever question the federal reserve? Libya receives money from Obama. Obama bails our largest banks out (freddie mac and fannie mae) with money neither you or me authorized him to do. (the same folks who gave him his campaign money, aka paying them back). If you were doing bad off and needed money, would you get bailed out? Millions upon millions of super stale loans are out there pending due to banks gave money to people who did not even have the collateral to back, and had sorry as shit credit scores. No one is going to jail over it though, though it's a form of stealing in my opinion. So the same banks who gave these loans, are getting backed now.
How long must we stay in the war, to be repeatedly lied to that our troops are coming home. I'm not going to lie I was for the war when it started out, but only due to the basic essential of revenge. But the more and more I opened my mind and read into things in regards to the diplomatic manner the UN got shit done with, the more I grew to have a general disdain. I am paying my government taxes, so they can march our happy ass around in a foreign country in order to do what? Iraqi Freedom? Haven't we tried that before with Vietnam? Look how great that went... look how many American soldiers didn't come home then.
Whatever happened to the Gold standard, and why the hell is the federal reserve still alive? Look how much gold is worth now. The federal reserve keeps printing paper that literally has no true value behind it. Why print more paper that pays for raw import materials, when the paper itself has no real value behind it. 14 trillion in debt with china, and people seem to think it's a travesty that inflation has occurred. How much longer are we going to promote foreign charity and psycho babble bs, when our own damn country have people jobless, homeless folks who have their PHD/Masters/Bachelors. Trust me they didn't piss their job away, they are claimed to be "over qualified."
Now we have Mexicans who are being deported, and farmers and contractors are complaining that cheap labor is hard to come by. Well guess what people, we have folks who can't live off of even minimum wage, so the only means of doing business is to higher out Hispanic Americans who are in fact illegal to do a job that should cost a lot more to do? They effin live like 10 people per household. Trust me I have friends who are illegals, I don't hate on them.. because I know they bust ass, and they play great soccer too
so I know they are just trying their best for their families. While we have other condescending pompous ass holes, that say arduous jobs are for the poor. Well guess what, if you don't have a job.. you are probably poor, unless you have your daddy's trust fund backing you for an X amount of time.
Lastly, and this may not be a big deal to you.. but there have been bills circulating about "internet censorship." You know how much this scares the crap out of me? What forum will allow you to voice your opinion anymore if this is allowed to pass? The government will literally be so far up your ass hole, due to they want their corporations and politicians to not be slandered. Well guess what, how the fawk did you think America got to be a "Free" country. It was the same Patriotic wit, that took us from being censored, overtaxed slaves, to the uncensored.. I can worship whatever I want, work where ever I want. Freedom is marketed like it was a true thing, when freedom has never been and increasingly getting more far from being an ever actuality.
We the people of the USA are in fact.. getting raped by our own system. Even the law enforcement is taking a little off the top. I witnessed it this weekend a bit. If you work for the government, I could see you having a long healthy citizenship, but if you don't... well get prepared for more an arse raping for due process... is... clearly broken these days.
