Fan Fiction Watching Over Archadia

Yeah but he was
forced to do it by that bastard Vayne
. I think I should have done something.....as a Judge my responsability was to enforce the law not play
Vayne's twisted game

-Sighs- That scene there was so sad because there was indeed
something going on with Judge Gabranth and Drace, IMO.
Hmm, and yes, the fact that the other judges didn't do anything was a bit of a let-down. I expected someone to jump in and do something. Anything. (Aside from Bergan, of course.)

So how exactly did Ghis...y'know. I seem to get Drace, but due to not giving spoilers away, what happened to Ghis?

Vossler? Who's that?

BTW, I have a question for Lisa. You had the username "Judge Ghis" when I joined, but FF12 wasn't out then. How did you know of Ghis?

Simple - I spoiled myself back in March 2006, when I heard we were not getting the game until next year.

I found out about the judges, and took a shine to Ghis.

Back to Drace -

Zargabaath could have done something, but he would have been helpless in doing anything for her. Think about it - if Zargabaath and Gabranth refused to do what Vayne had told them, and stood up against him, the only judges left would be Bergan, you would have no other that would serve the law rightfully.

Thanks to the nethicite Bergan has embedded in him, he could also have easily killed Gabranth and Zargabaath.

Technically..I am not Judge Ghis in the club..but :3 ♥

yeah bergan had venat with him so he had super strength (even though he was easy to beat)

Welcome to the club, Drace ;) And I'm sorry, by the way :P

About usertitles - you don't actually have to change your forum usertitle to the one that you've chosen - instead, I have kept a log of them beside the members names on my first post; so feel free to keep your own usertitle.

Oh, and about the scene. Well, I don't exactly see a lot of mutiny happening in a game anytime soon and, even though Gabranth and Zargabaath protested, Vayne could easily have called more guards. Who knows how powerful Vayne is himself (other than people who have completed the game)? He could also, essentially, murder his opposition. Gabranth did not protest very long, because if he lost his title, he would not be able to protect Larsa - Drace's
final wish
.

My scope on the Judges? Bergan is the only EVIL Judge, the rest are merely following orders and doing their jobs, but Drace is the only whose morality shines before her.

"I see the serpent coiled before me!"
"You speak to freely, Drace!"

Really? Lisa, your not Ghis for this? Damn......then I coulda chosen Ghis....

so basically drace sacrificed herself for gabranth to protect larsa?
Vayne himself seems to be strong but he has vanat with him at last battle
he dosnt even use sword or weps when you fight him in normal state
I think gabranth could beat vayne but not in his other forms
gabranth or zargaabath couldnt take on the entire archainain empire by themselves anyway

BTW, Riku, that quote would read "You speak too freely, Drace". Sorry, but I'm a gammer/spelling freak.

OK< I have a feeling I'm the only non-FF12 player here...

No.

When Vayne explained that he had been granted temporary autocracy (temporary rule) over the Kingdom, Drace did not agree with the motion, because she believed that Vayne had killed his father.

"I see the serpent coiled before me!" - Drace.

As far as I am in the game, this fact has not been proven, but it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. For comparison, watch "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare :P

Anyway, when she opposed Vayne, Bergan drew his sword to her and explained to her that it was, in fact, the very law that had given Vayne control over the Kingdom.

"Do you see it now, Drace? When you bared your sword at His Majesty, you bared your sword at The Law." - Bergan.

Drace tried to defend herself and attacked Bergan. However, as we learn later, Bergan has been infused with Nethicite, increasing his power.

"Such strength ... inhuman!" - Drace.

Drace was thrown to the other side of the chamber by Bergan's single hand, injuring her in the process. After some discussion, Vayne orders Gabranth to do what he has been instructed to do, as a judge.

"Fulfil your duties as Judge Magister." - Vayne.

Gabranth knew that he would not be able to protect Larsa if he was demoted or even imprisoned for treason. He is told to kill her.

"She has been tried and found guilty." - Vayne.

By Drace's dying wishes, Gabranth knows that he must protect Larsa.

"Live, Gabranth; protect the Young Lord. Protect Larsa."

Grudgingly, Gabranth kills Drace.

Oaft, all finished :P All I did was narrate the video that I published :P Oh, and to Gaaramaster: heaven's above, that's unlike me to make such a mistake O.O

Okay but she could of fought back or resisted (even though bergan would've killed her) she allowed herself to be killed by gabranth.
Bergan could've betrayed vayne since he had the nethicite. But he still takes orders from vayne

Because Bergan wants to make sure that Vayne acomplishes his own personal plans.

In this game, the judges are split because of their own ideas of how they should uphold the law.

For example, we have Bergan and Ghis which are on Vayne's side, then we have Drace and Gabranth who remained loyal to the emperor and his wishes of protecting Larsa against his enemies, even if those were from his own kin, like Vayne.

Zargabaath remains loyal to the Empire no matter who's the emperor but, he doesn't not agrees with Vayne's plans, still Zargabaath follows his orders.

About Judge Zecht, well.......I won't spoil anything :P

Ghis was evil? BTW Riku, That long spoiler thing was a pain in the behind.....

Ghis I don't think..was evil.
However, he wanted to usurp the throne from Vayne. In short, he just wanted to become Emperor. By having the Dawn Shard for himself, he would be taking a step in the right direction. He wasn't evil and lusting for nethicite like Bergan, he just wanted to be Emperor, plain and simple.

And, at the end of the day; there's not many of us who would turn down the chance to take the throne, if the oppurtunity was staring us in the face.

EDIT:
New picture uploaded, guys =] I made it myself in Paint; even if it is just copying and pasting, it took a while xD

thats pretty cool ^_^
I consider zargabaath more neutral than anything

I have some artwork I will be uploading, some from my POST fic (yeah, it's a bit AU, but not majorly), some random judgey face sketches, one of Judge Ghis, one of Drace holding Larsa and a rather funneh one 8D
