War of the Ten Year Eclipse​

What if every bad major horror that happened in our world could be explained, every war and major misdeed, every epidemic. What if AC and BC didn’t in reality involve Christ but had a different meaning. What if the horrors and joys of the world were decided by its people?

BC officially to the public eye means Before Christ meaning before his death, the reality of this is much darker, it means to the few who know the truth Before Conflict. During the passing of BC to AC for a select group of people time froze, during this freeze there was a hidden battle between two human sides, the Order and the Chaos. Ten years before this event god talked to the devil and used his liking of games to organize a way for humans to decide their own fate. God suggested to the Devil that every ten years there to be a game, this game was a battle of sorts between two factions picked out by God and the Devil. This was the first war and since then every ten years there was a fight.

The agreement was that if the Devils faction of Chaos won he would have major power over Earth for ten years while if Gods Order faction won he would have major power. Since that time there has been a conflict, every ten years, a fight for dominance and the fate of the world.

It’s almost 2010 and it’s time to choose the fighters for the next match, magic will be granted, people will gather and then the games will begin. It’s been six games since the Devil won and started world war two and now the world is more dangerous, with nuclear weapons and other dangerous tools what damage could the Devil do if he won. Would he bring a Chaos or another peace different to Gods Order? But regardless the war will begin soon, and under the time frozen field of Earth it will appear as if there is an eclipse in the sky on the endless frozen plain.

Are you willing to fight for the eternal peace of the world, are you willing to bring Salvation from the storm of Chaos and Hatred. To bring serenity and peace to the world is our goal but to do this we must fight and Prevail against the chaotic forces. May the holy light guide you and may you prevail over the conflict my soldier of light.

Chaos

To bring truth to the world, to wipe this so called fake ideas of God away and show it clean, power for those strong enough to take it. This world is for the strong and the weak should suffer for not trying to be strong. Do you wish to bring a proper world forth, then fight for me and bring forward this world through conflict.



Ok there’s the story and the line from God and the Devil to lure people to their side, this is anything goes, magic, guns anything and anyone with the right ideas is welcome to join the war and fight for their side. The worlds fate has been decide by these choices for a long time, hardships and chaos have been fewer in God’s ruling while the Devil seems to have a plan for the world, something new and different where only those who work hard get what they deserve.

So what side are you on, are you going to fight for Chaos or Order, God or the Devil, Hell or Heaven.

Ok anything goes magic, weapons just nothing over the top while keeping it within the guide lines of the RP section. I would like characters to be detailed, pick a side. Each character will be given a starting kit, containing a letter from above of which faction they are a part of, it will also contain the time and location of the war. All who are called by the letter and given this pack are expected to attend.

My position in will be that of a judge, a character over viewing and explaining things. Each of the two factions needs a leader that can be ether a player or NPC but prefer the team leaders to be players.

Just post the character sheet on the thread that way others can look at your character and it saves a lot of hassel.

He wears a White hoodie with grey designs on the back, under this hoodie he wears a grey shrit that is almost black. He is 5'6" tall and weighs 142 pounds and he has a very compact muscle structur making him tougher and stronger than he appears to be.
Personality: He does not like conversation and he always tries to remain a hidden prescence in society. When one is to talk to him he will not talk back as he prefers them to go away. If they persist he will not hesitate to kill them with his bare hands.
Combat style: He is a kicker mostly, using his balance as a weapon and is quite a percise stategist as well. He prefers to attempt kicking and punching ones abdoman and chest first.
Abilities: He can form weapons from his spiritual energy, however it is limited to blades, no guns, and if he were to lost grip of the weapon, the energy would simply return to him.
Short Bio:Soren was always self-reliant as a kid. Although he did not dwell in his bad times, as he always remained commited to making them better for himself. His parents were killed when Soren was only 6 and had to begin fending for himself, this made him mentally stronger and much more intelligent to the world and its inhabitants. for the first year of this survival he used his dead fathers javlin to hunt his food. It was rather difficult. At age 8 a traveler found him and took proper care of him, as Soren was always under-fed. Him and the traveler became well aquanted but he would not consider him a friend. Eventually the traveler began to teach Soren all the fighting techniques he knew with his sword. The two became a good team together as Soren was always a strategest of the sorts. Eventually at age 14 the traveler and him decided to settle somewhere and Soren had nowhere else to go, so where better than with someone he knew. eventually soren became 16 and the traveler saw a familiar ambtion in Soren's eyes, one to see and understand the world. So on his 17th birthday the traveler told him to persue his ambition and see the world, there was so much more for him to see. It has been 7 months since that day and he has spent 6 of those months traveling anywhere he could...

what other commitments would come with being the leader? however if there are no other commitments i must know about then i will be
 
They mainly make decisions for the team, the game is set in rounds each with there own rules so the leaders job is to decide the strategy and who does what in each round.

Thats to put it simply.

Personality: Stephen is a Cold closed off person who rarely shows his emotions, be it pain or anger. Without mercy or compassion stephen is Often seen as heartless or emotionless.
 Combat style: Stephen's fighting style is based around his ability to seemlessly switch between a trigger happy psychopath and a sword weilding Maniac.

when Shooting, Stephen can hit what he is aiming for no matter what the circumstances, be it hitting an Aeroplane whilst stood atop the empire state building or the wing of a fly from across the room, If it's in a Straight line to Stephen, he can hit it.

With his sword, Stephen weilds it as though it weights the same as a butter knife, being able to block attacks with it, or cut a foe Clean in half, the only thing greater than Stephen's swordsmanship, is his will to kill.

 Abilities: Stephen has few character defining abilities, nothing that could be seemed superhuman, he has a great tolerance for pain, and his body heals faster than others (a broken bone would heal in a matter of minutes, whereas cuts and scrapes would take mere seconds)

Short Bio: Stephen's entire family was a part of The Order, in the last war, but they were all killed, this is what fueled Stephen's Change in personality and character, with a heart full of Hatred, Stephen has had killer instincts since he was 8 during the last war.

when he heard the news of his families death, Stephen destroyed everything that reminded him of them, including their mansion of a home, all the pictures of them, and their pet chuwawa, Mr cuddles. Stephen became lost in the Orphanage system at this time, no family keeping him for more than a week, he was bounced from foster home to foster home like a bouncy ball.

when he turned 18 Stephen left the system and began living in a beaten down section of New york city. This is where he became fond of Guns, Stephen had always had insane skills with a sword, or the stick he was using as a sword as a child, and living in new york city he became acoustomed with Guns.

Custom building the weapon's he carries, and basically living in the Streets of New York, Stephen is a poster child for the criminally insane.

Appearance: Leon is a boy of medium height, standing at a moderate five foot nine inches and weighing in at a simple seventy kilograms. He has spiky, reddish hair which comes down to the back of his neck and muddy brown eyes. He has an attractive face with no facial scars and his body bears no scars whatsoever, his face is well proportioned often causing people to give him childish nicknames. Personality: Leon is a short-tempered, hot-headed young man. He is a brilliant tactician and leader by nature but considering his age he’s often looked down upon as a leader, being forced to take the orders of those older and more physically stronger than himself. He is quite a trusting person and has a very strong built-in “radar” for good people and has no trouble whatsoever making friends. He’s highly protective of those he befriends and is willing to throw himself into any dangerous situation if it’s required.

Combat Style: Leon is an adept physical fighter, excelling in skill in the fine art of hand-to-hand but this is not his forte. Preferring to wield the blade, he has learnt from his Grandfather how to wield it effectively and skilfully, however considering the times he has never had any legit reason to actually use it in a fight.

Abilities: Leon has quite the affinity with fire, able to wielf effectively in order to send out balls of fire and even throw out waves of heat. He can also channel his fire magic into whatever weapon he’s using, whether it’s the blade or his gloves.

Short Bio: From a very early age, Leon has lived with his Grandfather in a small rural town. He never knew he own parents as they died shortly after he was born. He is a normal schoolboy and has many friends, he is even high up in a gang of sorts due to his brilliant leadership and natural knowledge of tactics. Though he acts quite thuggish sometimes, he generally a lovely guy, being kind to everyone around him and helping anyone who needs it.

Personality: quiet, doenst like to talk much. When time he sits down to concentrate. Doesnt like to rush and emotionless.

Combat style: He is using kung fu fighting style and stick fighting style. also thanks to his great aerobic training, he can almost bend himself no matter how

Abilities: can great a force field around him that is slowing down flying things that flyes at him. With the higher speed the more slower the object gets( for exampel bullets speed and above are practically stopped but the speed of flying rock that was tossed by mere human can get through.( those who know Stargate SG-1 then it is the same thing that Apophis used :D )).

Short Bio: When he was just born, parent put him to buddhis temple front door in Shangai , because they could not feed another mouth. The monk came outside to see why is there a screaming at front of their door. Seeing a young child there he took him to his teacher and asked his advice. Teacher told him to take him in to this temple.
So the temple became the child new home. The one who found him was put on duty to teach him and to look after him. 25 years later The oldest of them all called them together to announce a chosen one who will go and fight for this temple at the tournament that was every 10 years. They all decided that the boy must go. Without hesitating the boy packed his food and started walking towards the tournament.

the forcefield is like the one that Sam whips up around the apollo when the Ori beam attack is comming towards it, slowing time down to a practical stop so they can find a way to get away from the attack

and my guns are back to how they were
 
the one i meant was at the SG-1 first season. It was used by many rules. even in one episode Daniel dreamed that he had one of those.
 
Both characters are accepted but get that link changed ok.

Me and my dad are big fans of stargate and I know how it works, in all honnesty it's not as bad as it seems if you think about it. I'll add both your names to the list but I do want to see that link fixed up. Now that we got some people I will post up the starting thread, I will do that tomorrow or on saterday depending when I have time.
