Recipe 5:

Name of dish: Chocoblock!

Photograph:
20201222_192905.jpg

Ingredients:
  • Two Mars Bars
  • Two ounces of butter
  • Three ounces of Rice Krispies
  • 1 white icing tube
  • 2 icing pens (red and blue)

Instructions:
  • Melt Mars Bars and butter in pan
  • Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies whilst stirring
  • Place into a rectangular tin
  • When it has cooled, cover with melted chocolate and layer it neatly
  • Cut it into squares in honour of Square Enix*

On one square, or all of them:
  • Squirt your icing all over it and smudge it into the shape of a snow-white chocobo!
  • Use a blue icing pen to create its eyes
  • Use an orange icing pen to create a beak
  • Kwehstion why you have done all of the above and then enjoy your crunchy, chewy, choco-chocobo-ey snack!
* (If you accidentally leave it a day without covering it properly and it starts to oxidise, fear not! This happy accident can form a snowy background!)

I thank all of you who entered. It was a busy time of year for everyone so I really do appreciate all entries!

Happy voting!

I really enjoyed 'Sunflower Seeds' entry, though I'm not sure how sanitary it is if the cat was the one who harvested them. :hmmm: :lew:

'Chocobo Soup' looks really delicious, actually! It almost looks like one of those Ghibli Film shots of all the detailed foods 😋 I'd absolutely order this if I saw it in passing.

'Gizamaluke's Gratin' is okay, could have been more Christmasy.

'Chocobo Chicken and Pasta' also looks good! That pasta could look a but saucier in the picture though! I also thought the rolls were fried chocobo at first :tearjoy: Still, this looks like a good dish! Could do without the toe-shot though

'Chocoblock' looks delicious! I appreciate the artistic take despite it being left out uncovered overnight. This would be really cute to do with all different colors of Chocobos too! At first I thought this was a brownie or a cut of fudge, but it looks like it's a rice crispy treat covered in chocolate! I'd still absolutely eat this, especially at Christmas time!

'Chocobo's Christmas Jellies' looks very Christmasy. They look like they were very soft & tasty.

It was a tough vote :lew: It was between Chocobo Soup, Chocobo Chicken and Pasta & the Chocoblock for me. I think the Chocobo Soup was the most appealing to myself personally, plus with it being Christmas time I think a nice bowl of warm soup sounds perfect about right now! But all the entries were really good this year :-) Looking forward to the next Recipe event!

The toe in the Chicken & Pasta dish made me lol, I had to go for it....

The toe in the picture that is... not in the actual pasta............. I hope..........................?

Fat Chocobo chuckled with gluttonous glee as he observed these entries. Ignis has also jotted them down and stolen them!

As always, quite a range of styles. Love the toe! Glad that's all it was. :argor:

The Rice Krispie slab thing is actually my Grandma's old recipe. Without the chocobo icing though. That was me just thinking of a way to turn it into Final Fantasy. :thehead:

I thank all of you for entering. Until next time!

Yeah my camera doesn't show all that's snapped at times. When i snapped it it cut off at some of the dishwasher.
