LOL! I totally agree! The only reason why I posted on the Anti-Tifa thread is because I dislike Fanon Tifa, but I LOVE Canon Tifa and I love Canon Aerith (I also dislike fanon Aerith <_<) but anyway

We gotta get those two to join this, but I love both girls and they should love both girls. Maybe the positive outlook on our club here and the friendship that Aerith and Tifa has (that is also making all of our friendships grow!) can stop the drama and we can focus on the positives of it all :D
 
My chibi AC Tifa has been hanging off my purse for ages now :P I think she and Kadaj protect my stuffs xD I wish I had one of Aerith -_-

I've repressed my love for Tifa for too long...I also felt like there was no way I could love both girls at the same time...dude, this club rocks already!

That would be awesome if they did. Would this thread be too, hmm... what's the word, girly for them? Since they are both guys, they may roll their eyes at the best friends forever vibe of this thread. But who knows, they could surprise me.

And you're right about fanon Tifa and fanon Aerith. *headdesk* They should not be invited to this club either.
 
LOL! Rydia, this club IS too girly, IMO. I feel all giggly inside now. :P Buuut, this is a good thing, you know. And I sure hope those guys will join so we can all watch them get all giggly too! Hahahaha!

Anyway, I'm not sure if you all know already, but I never disliked any of those characters - just the fanon Tifa and Aeris, although I didn't really see too much of fanon Aeris. It frustrates me how fanon Tifa is so popular in the internet. Seriously, everytime I do a google search of Tifa, these fanon artworks would show up, and I'd roll my eyes. Tifa is a respectable character, and I don't appreciate those so-called fans doing those sort of things.

Now with Aerith, I've only seen several fanon artworks, and it frustrates me as well. I mean, have some respect for someone who died and saved the world, you know? She's truly a remarkable character and I love her character so much!

To top it all off, they both stand out to me. I especially liked how Tifa acknowledged Aerith in FFAC and smiled because she knew Aerith has been there all along, helping them out. That part right there was very touchy for me. Both of them deserves to be praised upon by their fans and look, we're all actually doing it! ^_^ This club will surely be popular!

EDIT: Omg, Aerith's theme's started playing on my winamp just a few seconds after I posted this! -Eyes starts to water-

Oh my gosh, in Tifa's novel Case of Tifa, the way she cried when they went back to the Forgotten City to visit Aerith's grave just touched me to no end at all. It proved right then and there how much Tifa really cared for and still does care for Aerith. I really think that if Aerith had lived, their friendship would have blossomed into something beautiful!

And Mitsuki, I totally agree! I feel all giggly and squealy as well xD Maybe they won't mind so much of the girliness! We can only hope,right? :D
 
I'm the one guilty of character hate. But we won't go in to that.

Strangely, this club is making really like both characters. And not surprisingly, it's more fun than the hate club. Yay for the power of good!

I don't like how so much fan-art Tifa makes her out to be so...so...slutty o.o" And I want more awesome Aerith artwork durnit!
 
Oh yeah, does anyone know of any fanfics that depict their friend ship? Or maybe of any that shows Tifa reaction to Aerith's death? Those would be nice to read. The only one that I ever found was an Aerti fic. And I really liked it, but I want to read one about their friendship.
 
Oh my gosh I know! I get so tired of seeing people draw poor Tifa with boobs bigger than her head :( and I hate the way they draw her in barely anything like she's just some kind of sex fiend :( it's really sad

I also HATE when people draw Aerith being killed and making fun of it too. I saw this one drawing of Aerith that somebody had drawn, she was already dead and in the background was Tifa giving Sephiroth 100 bucks. That really got under my skin something terrible!
 
Hi, you know what, I want in on this. I'm sick of having to bash Aeris in order to elevate Tifa, it's stupid and immature and I want out of it (Hey you guys know that there is no love lost between me and Aeris Gainsborough so be gentle with me as I ease into a more 'chilled' mode!)
I've just made my last post on the 'Great crusade against Aeris' thread. I guess I wasn't really the right guy to start that thread but I stand by the fact that it had to be there for balance.

So I raise my glass "To Aeris and Tifa!".

As to this thread being too girly... well I know whose company I would rather be in ;)

Oh yay! I'm so happy you joined! :D I just see no point in having these hate clubs anymore. Me and Dragon Mage came to that conclusion last night after having lengthy conversations in PMs *hugs Dragon* Maybe I should just go ahead and close the hate threads and we can focus more on the positives of these two amazing, beautiful young women and how important their friendship remains :D *points to mine and Dragon's siggys* ^______^ *izrproud*

Awwww *snuggles Grim* It did me too.

What I loved was at the end of AC on the Shera when Tifa was looking out of the window and Aerith made her presence known to Tifa and the look and smile Tifa gave her and thanked her for being there all along. There was also this part written in Case of Tifa where Tifa was sure she heard Aerith's voice asking if she alright when they went to visit her grave. That part made me choke up a bit.

Glad you came along too Fin, makes me feel less lonely.

But I have to say to everyone that I was in no way pressured to join this thread, I really think its great that I am free to like both girls.

Its kinda like a weight has been lifted.
