Help ultima weapon got away!!!!!

ok guys.... i saw him hovering over the waterfall canyon on disc 2 and fought him. he flew away soi followed him for a bit, but lost his trail and decided to go save midgar from Hojo. big mistake.... now im on disc 3 and hes nowhere in sight.... has anyone else had this problem?

Just keep flying around, he can be an elusive little git, but he will be around, he shouldn't just up and dissapear. It takes me ages to run into him sometimes

He likes to hover over a few different places. Ruined Mideel, Midgar and the North Cave are some of his favorites. If he's over the North Cave though and your on disk 3, I think it will trigger a cutscene.

really? he doesnt dissappear? ive been searching everywhere and havent found him

He's annoying when he goes on his little hide and seek mission.

On my latest play through, I had him at Corel, and near Nibelheim twice.

If he's near Cosmo Canyon, you'll know that will be the final fight, as the explosion gives you access to the Ancient Forest without the use of a special Chocobo.
