I was once really into cosplaying. Well I never did it or anything but I was trying to put together a costume for Yuna's Songstress outfit.

I always wondered: Do you make your own outfit? Get someone else to make it? Or buy one? What's the best way to do it to get every detail right?

This is what I do. I usually send the costume to be made. That means I'll have the basic look of the costume seeing how they never get in every detail. After the costume came back to me and I tried it on I modify it my self making sure to give in every detail it was originally missing. I think that is the best way seeing how I can't really sow or have the time and patience for it. xD
