sounds like a good idea.

Instead of trying to warn a user, tell a moderator or member of staff if you think someone needs to be warned (what the report link is for). Without the ability to silence them, it's likely that all you'll be doing is aggravating another person and end up breaking a lot of rules, which will in turn, get you in trouble.

and that is probably why psuedo-modding (acting like a moderator) is against the rules
