Twilight Saga Discussion

I saw the trailer yesterday and it looks interesting. I've always enjoyed vampire movies so I will be checking this one out. However I think I'll end up renting it instead of seeing it on the theatre. Stewart is not an actress I like much.
 
It looks like a neat little film which could well be worth watching, I've never read the book but from the trailer it looks as if he loves her but is trying to scare her as well...sorta xD
And it looks like a dark fantasy film as well! :gasp:
 
The film was the whole reason why I took the liberty into reaidng the whole series into a month and a half. I started off with Twilight, then New Moon, Eclipse and finally, Breaking Dawn. It's going to be interesting as to how the critics are going to view this. I'd expect them to praise it as the books are, but we'll just have to wait and see. The trailers seem outstanding so far, especially the second one.
 
I'm really looking forward to seeing this film. I'm only halfway through the book, but I think it's great.

I think that Robert Pattinson will be great as Edward too, as I read the book it's almost as if the character was created for him. o_O The descriptions were spot on and from what I saw of him in HP4, I think he can pull off the character well.


Edit: Just watched the trailer, I forgot it was an American thing. :wacky: I'm not sure about his American accent, it would be so much better if he used his own. >_> But then again, it would be a tad odd if he sounded English and his family all American. >_> Ah well


Edit 2: I just looked it up and found this picture, I assume it's the Cullen/Hale family? They're not THAT good looking imo. >_> I don't mean to sound shallow ofcourse, but in the book they were all described to be inhumanly beautiful. I can't really see anything special about them. o_O

Lol, I was beaten to making the thread. Yeah working in a bookstore helps as I got the books quickly lol. Im very looking forward to this, wethever or not I'll enjoy it over the books is another thing.
 
Edward's voice does sound so magical. I have to agree with you about them being inhumanly beautiful, however. Maybe it's something magical or supernatural that causes Bella to describe them in that way? It's her point of view.
 
I got news!

While Harry Potter has been pushed back to next July, Twilight has taken its place and will be released near the end of November.

I found his American accent quite sexy :monster: Although in the scene that's on the Penelope DVD, it sounds like he has a Scottish accent or something o_O

Yea, the first time I saw that pic I was like these are the vampires? But they look.. ordinary! The only one that looks beautiful is Rosalie in my opinion. And wtf is up with Carlise and Jasper's hair?! :gasp:

I'm also quite excited, I just hope that since they pushed back Harry Potter they won't push back the Live Action Dragonball trailer that was supposed to be released with it. >_>

It's funny that you should say Rosalie is the only beautiful one though, most people complain that she isn't beautiful enough, lol. Carlisle's hair is pretty weird though, in that baseball screenshot it almost looks greased. I also heard somewhere that in the Cullen family photo, Jasper's actor was wearing a wig.
 
I think Rosalie is the most beautiful of them all as well, yes. Actually, now that I really think about it, so does Edward ...

Lol, I have the better picture as my background on my laptop. Now the Cullens look dark, dangerous, daring and beautiful on there.

yeah, i didn't really care for the first pictures they did. o_o maybe that's just me.. haha.
 
Now just take this vivid imagination of them and keep it until the movie comes out. It's only two more months left and trust me, the time will go quick. I'm hoping that they push it forward again.
 
Ah yeah, that picture makes them look so much more dark and evil. I still think that the guy who plays Carlisle is kind of weird-looking though, I was expecting somebody more Brad Pitt-ish. >_> It might just be the way the picture's taken though...
 
Hey, just to let everyone know, I just found out yesterday that they moved up the release date for the movie. The movie will now be released November 21st instead of December 12th.
 
For all those who watch Entertainment Tonight, they will be showing a sneak preview of the final Twilight trailer on Thursday, October 9th. That same trailer will be shown in theaters on October 10th, so if any of yall' are going to the movies that day maybe you'll get to see it.

Also, you can now pre-order the Twilight official soundtrack from Amazon.com. Only one track has been revealed so far, which is Decode by Paramore. Go to Stephanie's official site to hear it!
