My question is, I have a TV stand that says it can hold up to 150 lbs. While I know the tv will be MUCH larger and come off the stand, would you be ok with it supporting this TV? The only other things I have on it are a PS3, Wii and a wireless modem. The TV comes in at 100 lbs, so technically I think it should hold it, I just want to see if anyone else has any experience doing so. I could buy a new stand, but I dont really want to just because.

I don't see why not. I'd be nervous if you were pushing the envelope, but you'd likely only weigh in around 115 pounds. I'd say go for it. :neomon:

Well if the TV overhangs each side by a considerable amount I would recommend getting a bigger stand, or if you have a good wall to place it on wall bracket it. I like stand obviously to store your consoles/Players underneath. Here in the UK are stands tell us what TV's are suitable for the stand, you can by all means try it :)

150lbs is the suggested weight, but you can push it a little more if its made good/assembled correctly.

Assuming you have the Slim PS3 model then you're probably looking at a total weight of around 110-115lbs total (this includes the weight of your Wii).

Either way You should be fine.

I hear you green link. I may still do so. There will be considerable overhand since my 47 inch at the moment fits it almost perfectly. And Im never hanging one with a mount. Id be scared to death of it falling off the wall lol

Dude that is one impressive TV, its a LED with 240 HZ refresh rate, pretty cool.
But seriously dude I hope its not going in your bedroom. It will damage your vision.

I like the wifi part so its also a smart tv. Is it also 3d? Didnt see it in the specs.

TBH with that price and size I cant understand why anyone would want to buy that. Please check out the distance for viewing. If you already have glasses on the other hand its cool.
