What did you think of the Triple Triad card game?

I thought and still do think its a really fun game, and adds a nice little feature to the game. I spent many hours trying to collect every card and eventually I did it:D

Triple Triad beats the crap out of FFIX's card game.
 
Personally, I loved it. It stressed me when I could never win, or matches seemed to be fixed. I remember trying to win Quezacotl card for days and I eventually won it.

Plus, it's necessary to obtain rare items be refining the cards :)
 
That game was awesome. Way better than IX's. I got pretty good at it too.:)
 
Triple Triad is a very simple and enjoyable game, unlike ff9's tetramaster in which you could have the best cards and still lose to a combo or something
 
Triple Triads ace, tho I am finding it frustrating to find some of the other rare GF and Character cards which you can only get when you lose certain other cards to the Card Queen then have to find a certain other player to win them from.

I use to hate Tetra Master but I've recently just learned how all the numers and letters work and I've gotten better so Im starting to enjoy it more. But Triple Triad still pwns!
 
I only played Triple Triad a couple of times, and it took me awhile to figure out the entire point of the game. :lol: I couldn't figure out how to defeat the card next to me. :wacko: But yeah, I never tried going against the really tough card players; who had the character cards.
 
You should if u beat them u can get their card, and even if u lose, just reset
 
Without doubt, Triple Triad has been the best sub-game of Final Fantasy to date.

I had all but one card on my save data, which unfortunately I no longer have.. =(
 
Triple Triad is my second FF minigame. A simple, yet addicting card game with a catchy theme song. The random rule can kill a player's chances of getting the rare character cards. Other than that, the game isn't very difficult.
 
Don't even get me started with Triple Triad! I was so addicted to that game and I spent endless hours getting all the summon cards, character cards and every other card I could grasp! God, I am a Triple Triad addict. I also loved that theme song that was played when you did the game. It got into my head a lot.
 
I never really liked the game. It was so confusing. I would play for some rare cards, but I would end up losing the rare cards I had. So I just gave up on the game all together.
 
I would also play for rare cards, and I always lost mine from the bosses I had beaten. It was irritating.

Especially if the rules were not Open. Then, I wouldn't be able to understand the gameplay at all.
 
TIP - If you lose a rare card, play another match straightafter - your lost card should be in there.
TIP 2 - Always use your highest cards, ones that have 8's,9's,A's on them, and use them wisely - it is NOT hard to understand the game, and I have at least 5+ pages of cards won, some I got in battle and ones I turned into cards.
 
Triple Triad was great ^^. It's simple and rather easy to understand, which is a definate plus for me n.n.
The different rules in the different regions is also a nice touch. Overall it is just fantastic like the game.
 
How could ya'll say its confusing? Anyways I hated the random rule. That shit sucked. I didn't keep my laguna cartd very long. I turned it int 100 Hero Drink things.

i already spoke about how i loved triple triad elsewhere........so heres something related to the topic........who was surprised that Quistis was the king card player? i was totally surprised since i had no guide at first :lol:
