Triple Triad

I used to do that too. I loved Triple Triad...until I tried to do that stupid quest.

I have one thing to say about a certain character:
THE QUEEN OF CARDS. IS A CHEATING WHORE.

That broad added so many of those ridiculous rules. >/ I gave up trying to do that quest, just because, even if I beat her, her stupid rules still spread.

I love Triple Triad, it was so addictive, & you can get rid of all those extra annoying rules by challenging that dude in Balamb :monster:

I spent way too many hours playing it, that stupid music sticks in my head aswel :wacky:

I loved this game, but Contra, I agree with you wholeheartedly...

Let's all kill the Queen of Cards!!!

That bitch bled my Gilgamesh, Ifrit, Carbuncle, Sacred and Odin cards...
IN ONE GAME!!!

Luckily, I had saved...
Therefore, reset and I KICKED HER ASS!!!

Triple Triad was good until those stupid 'SAME/PLUS' rules started to take effect, and RANDOM! Made getting Edea and Laguna cards a fucking nightmare. The Queen of Cards can also kiss my arse with her stupid time consuming side-quest. I only have a few cards left to get and they are only possible to get via the Queen so looks like I will never complete the collection.

The random rule is fine, just refine all your non rare cards and there should be no problem :monster:

The plus rule bugged me for AGES though, but once I knew how it worked it wasn't too bad (altho I still lose a fair bit with that :wacky:) It's abit of a pain having to think & I'd much rather not have the plus rule, so I always head poff to Balamb to get rid of it whenever I get the chance :wacky:

Yeah but by that time I'd have pretty much every 'none-rare' card and it would be a pain to go back and get them all again >_<

I just don't bother getting them again, it still shows up that you HAD them so having them doesn't really make all that much difference other than being a pain in the arse in random card games :wacky:

Just adjust your tv, so it's black & white and you will be reet :monster:

Honestly, you wouldn't have half as many issues if you got rid of all your crap cards :wacky:

Haha. Seriously, the Queen of Cards was such a cheating wench. She freaking...MAKES UP. HER OWN RULES!
WTF IS THAT?! XD

I just waited till disc 4 and pwned her there at the crash site.

Another thing I found funny about Triple Triad:
People will play with you, wherever, whenever.
Even when Garden was under attack, you could run up to a SeeD who is like: "They're invading from everywhere! We can't hold them off! We must defeat the Galbadian soldiers! Make sure you---Oh, you want to play cards? Sure!"

You'd think the game would at least turn off the option -once- in a while, haha. XD

Its so much funnier this way though. And I haven't gtten around to the Queen of Cards SQ yet. My first play through I didn't know that if you went to disc 4 then you couldn't enter any cities, and then my copy got jacked.

I have it now, though, but my PS don't work. WHY?!

:omg: Haha, now that Contra mentions it, that was actually a very funny part in the game. The only place where card playing is actually frowned upon is the SeeD exam, but if I remember correctly, it's still an option.

"The world is time compressed! Agggggggghghgo--CARDS!"
"Yeah, space is pretty great... over there, you can see the planet where--what, cards? Really? Uh... okay."

Triple Triad luv. :]

The innapropriatness(sp) of some of the card games made me laugh :wacky:

The gardens about to be hit by missiles but lets play cards!!

I loved Triple Triad! I loved it when I was winning, that is. When I didn't win, I wanted to smash my TV screen with my controller. What got me, most of the time, was the Random rule. As long as I could own my other opponent, with my awesome godly character cards, I was happy as a lark. But when you get dirt like the level one cards, in the mix, it becomes a chore. There were times the h0, ( Queen of Cards ) , would make me want to scream. :D

That direct rule was a pain in the arse. The one that you got to keep the cards you turned, and your opponent yours. that is quite possibly the most infuriating rule in the game, next to plus -_-

Oh my god, I know. I hated the Direct rule. That and Plus! I can't tell you how many times I lost because of Plus. Eventually I got the hang of it, but that one caused me a tremendous amout of grief. Ugh. Brings back horrible memories. I didn't have much trouble with Same, Elemental, Open..etc. Just the Random, Direct trade and Plus. The trade rule: ALL , now that one was love. If you won, that is. Ha ha.

Oh I know, it was so easy collecting cards that way, I made sure getting the all rule was the first thing I did :wacky:

Altho, it's bollocks if you lose 5 rares in a row, not that I lose often :wacky:
