So, went into town after work to pay money into the bank, stopped in Gamestation.

Saw Batman AA half price, so picked it up, went to the counter and joined the queue. Turned my head, and looked at the shelf with the old Gamecube games. What did I see?

Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wind Waker with the bonus disk. So, Batman went straight back on the shelf, picked up the two Zelda games, got back to the counter, they had ONE Gamecube left. Then the guy decided to throw in the Collectors Edition Zelda disk that usually comes with Double Dash. But, they had no memory cards. Went down to another shop, they had ONE memory card.

How lucky is that? :awesome:

So now I have:

The Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link
A Link to the Past (on SNES)
Link's Awakening (on GB)
Ocarina of Time (and Masterquest)
Majora's Mask
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess

How friggin' awesome is that?

I noticed Gamecube games in Gamestation today. I was really tempted by Metroid Prime. I'm actually struggling to remember why I didn't get it now, because it was only about £3...

Also, Link's Awakening is one of my favourite Zelda games ever. It seems that the best ones ended up on Gameboy.

Come to think of it I have seen a lot of Gamecube games in Gamestation lately. If only I have or could find a Gamecube controller because I saw Wind Waker and Tales of Symphonia recently and I wanted to pick them up.

So how much was all of that compared to Arkham Asylum?

That is pretty dang awsome DLFlux. I love Batman AA, but you managed to pick up a whole load of awsomeness to make up for it. And swift, I really reccomend you try Wind Waker as soon as you can- it's the most epic and beautiful of all of the Zeldas (Not to say that others don't do well in thier departments. I'm still hunting for that special edition disk with Majoras mask on it just so I can play the creepiest of the entire series.)

£3? Bargain!

I prefer LTTP over LA tbh...

Well the GC was £15, Wind Waker with the extras was £10 and £20 for Twilight Princess.

Arkham at half price was £20. So I paid an extra 20. Not bad really, considering AA would've been 40 at full price. xD

I was lucky to grab a copy of Skies of Arcadia in GAME bout 2 years ago for £4.99, boguth my mates gamecube for £20 and then got Tales of Symphonia from Ebay for about £10. In one weekend XD I was mega chuffed.

It seems to only be Gamestation, Cash Generator and CEX that are taking in old skool console games.

I sold my gamecube for £25 at a carboot sale it was the best thing i ever did, Only really liked starfox and Wind Waker

Now all you need is Phantom Hourglass/ Spirit Tracks and your collection will be complete. :p
