FF Music To Zanarkand Song

*Moved to Square Enix music*

Impressive! It sounds great. =D

I didn't have to watch it all, from the very start, I knew you are an exellent player, well done, I'm looking forward to listening to some of your other pieces, again, well done

Well, although technically you played this song well, it's meant to be a very melancholic, moving song, so it's meant to be quite slow, dotted with Crescendos and Diminuendos with the Climaxes.

It's a little rushed.

Still very good though, I envy your talent.

A bit fast, though you still did a very good job. Keep it up.

Niice, It was rushed at the beginning and i heard a few dodgy notes and listening to it i know you tried to play the song as it was heard in the game and not the actually piano collections one. Bonus points from me! I like the game version slightly better. If you can play that mutha fucking arpeggio in the piano collection version of zanarkand then top marks. Well done.

I recommend trying to play melodies of life (ffix), the oath(ffviii) and one winged angel (ffvii). they're all kick as songs. Again, well done

Question: What grade are you?

I played "To Zanarkand" on the piano at a recital on June 2, 2007. That was the first time in the history of that particular music academy when a video game music piece was played at a recital. That is the song I love to play on the piano. I started learning how to play it on the piano back in 2006.

Ah, the video has been removed..?
Well, i suppose. Great choice of song.. This music's pretty soothing, somewhat? Kinda able to calm me down easily.

Heh, I've been playing that song on piano for years. Although it wasn't as emotional as it's supposed to be, you still got things right, so good job. :]

Yeah i know what you mean about the emotion part. I took me a good part of a year to fully perfect To zanarkand and to put evrything right and add that extra touche of emotional fluency

The Expression is challenging in this piece, but not VERY hard, it's just a matter of controlling dynamics at relatively easy speeds.
If you take something like Moonlight Sonata Mvt III Presto Agitato by Beethoven, the expression is extremely difficult, not only are you playing extremely quickly, but there are pianissimo markings, hard thing to do, play fast and quietly.

I challenge any pianists here, to take the fastest piece they know and play it at a very low dynamic.
