It took me aproximatley 60 hours to beat it, I spend a lot of time hunting with my character to get him to a higher level so the Bosses would be easier.

So, how long did it take you to beat FF7?

Peace,
Octavius

FF7 was one of the first RPG I ever played. It took me around 2-3 months to beat it the first time.

Now I can beat it in a full day. If I get all the sidequests though it'll take me 2-3 days tops to beat it. (considering I don't stop playing for the 48-72 hrs straight)

I think it took around 30 hours for me to beat it at my first playthrough.

Heh, it took me quite awhile to beat this game. Let me calculate...hmm, maybe three months. And I played nonstop too, kinda. I know I spent about two months leveling my characters up during the summer, as well as their materias.

Yes, I mastered all of the materia, I think except for the enemy skills. I really don't remember. I know that there was a point when I played over 100 hours already, but a month later, I was still leveling up, lol. That's how serious I was about VII! >.<

well for the main game it took me 30 something hours and for the side quests it took me WAY over 100 hours especially mastering all materia

The handful of times I've played it, I've generally taken my time and done sidequests and all that; 60-80 hours is the norm, upwards of 100 hours here and there. The one time I went straight through it took me about 26 hours.

In my main 3 play-throughs (my first time beating it, my first time attempting to beat ruby and emerald weapon, and my first time playing while referencing help on the internet in order to get everything) I played 95, 135, 240. Those are the current times displayed (rounded off to 0 or 5) (I still have them saved). Altogether I'd have to estimate just under 1,000 hours.

About 30-40 hours for me. It spanned over 3 months though because when I first got into teh series, I wasn't one to play video games every day. I'd play like once a week, see how far I'd get, then pick it up against next week. Not now. A new FF game comes out, that sucker is OWN'D in a few weeks!

For Just The Story, It Took Me 45 Hours, It Took So Long Because Before You Reach The Nothern-Cave, Theres A Part Where You Have To Get Your Timing Right To Get Past These "Lifestream Waves" Surrounding It. Since I Was 7, I Didnt Really Know What To Do, I Sat There For 2 Hours Trying To Do That Alone...

My first playthrough took a longass time...55+ hours with not very much done other than the basic stuff.

Now, I can probably beat it in 20-30, since I pretty much know everything to know about vii

i cant tell how long it took me i used to never pause it while eatin or goin on food so my time was allways massive but ir econ around 30-40 hrs for main story

lol ok now that is ironic if i get everything it takes me 2 days sleepy or not who cares if i just play to get to the end about 1 day

first time i played it took me about 40-50 hours, cant really remember it was sooo long ago. now i reckon i cud do it in about 30 maybe. but the quicker u play this game the less u enjoy it so i say take your time!!!!

first time i finished it it took me 55 hours Cloud Aeris Barret and Tifa all had their ultimate weapons and all 4 of there limit breaks Cloud barret and Tifa were my final team (for obvious reasons) and were level 60+
