After recent events, I think it's right for me to leave. I think that this explanation should clear the reason up for you all, if you're in the dark, for some reason.

I wont be requesting an account deletion/banning, so you will still be able to reach me through MSN, as it is given in my profile. It's david_mc27@msn.com anyway. Not that I can see many people adding me, after this.

Just let me apologise once again for what happened to the forums. It was really never meant to go as far as it did. On that note, I'd just like to say that I have not and will not apologise to Darkblade about anything prior the the hacking, as I don't feel I should apologise for that, quite the opposite. If you're interested to know, I'll only explain on MSN, as I want to keep FFF as drama-free as possible.

I know nothing can justify any of this, even if you knew why it all started. I just can't stay here with everyone resenting me and with all of the fingers pointing at me, I feel like a convict. I may come back one day, possibly sooner than later. I may even just pop on the shoutbox to say hi to everyone, but either way, I'm not coming back for a while. I think I need some space from all of this and from Darkblade.

I'll stay on until the end of the night, so feel free to post your G'byes just now and I'll probably reply.

I'll miss you guys XD

You know Dave I don't blame you at all. You have done nothing wrong and I want you to know that, from me to you. I thank you, for everything that you have done here, and I truly mean that, and I think a lot of people are grateful for all the hard work you have put into FFF here.

I also want to thank you for being one of the best buddies I could have ever asked for. We have such a hoot, I'll miss posting with you. Thankfully, we do have MSN, and so our conversations won't stop. You know I love them too much. xD

My opinion of you hasn't changed, not after all this. In fact, I admire you more, for being honest, and standing up for what you believe in. You are a good person Dave, no matter what anything else thinks. *Hugs tightly*

Come back soon, or I'll drag you back, ok? :lol: And keep being who you are.

Don't ever change Dave. Ever.

Ohh great. Please Riku think, this is an Internet forum, not real life. It may have the same effects, a fact that I doubt, but it's just an internet forum. No on is saying that you should leave, after all it's your decision.

You say you are inteligent, right? Then use your damn brain and think. Why wouldn't we forgive you? We are damn humans!! Not some perfect machines!

Sorry for seeming cold right now. I think that there has already been enough discussion of the issues that caused Sunday's hack. I have enjoyed the IMs we have had and also felt that you did a great job as a smod before Sunday. But I think it is time for the forum to move on. If you want to continue as a member, you are very welcome. But I think you should realize that the events of the last few days will not be forgotten easily.

Well, the good news is that Darkblade and I, after much capitalised converse, have ... moderately settled things. It's much calmer now. So that means I can face coming back, one day. The bad news is that I'll still be resented. Meh, it's still pretty balanced, I suppose.

You'll be sorely missed. We'll have a hell of a time replacing you. I don't really think that many members hate your guts. I posted in your Explanation thread again and closed it, as requested.

But since this is your choice, I can't force you to stay. Good luck in wherever it is you go.
 
Darkblade's just been talking to me again and he's informed me of your proposition, Angelus. Thank you, honestly. But I can't accept, morally. I'm now more concerned with doing what's right than being right now. It's too little too late, but it's all I can do. If I ever come back, which I probably will, I may talk to you again about it, but for now, I'm still leaving.:sorry:

I think I need a break from forums altogether, to be honest. If you do see me anywhere, I'll probably be lurking around Tethar's Omni Board and my own LODF.

I've had a wonderful time here with you all and I certainly wont forget any of you. As I said before, even if it's just to come on the shoutbox, I may come back someday. Until then, I may as well give my final goodbye:
