Wasnt sure where to put this, meeting room seems as good a place as any

I was in the bathroom before and just saw the flash then the rumble of thunder afew seconds later and I was like ooooh thunder :ryan:

I used to love turning all the lights off and sit watching it, not so muc h now, becuase I don't have much of a view which sucks

My friends terrified of thunder and lightning though, I think its hilarious, so, love it or hate it?

have to admit though, its no fun being out in it -__-
 
I love it...when I'm inside. xD It's really fun to watch, especially if you have lots of lightning. I don't like being outside in it though, then it's just scary. xD

It's best when it's all dark, and I'm in bed and I can listen to the thunder and see the lightning, while being all warm and comfy in bed xD
 
It was thundering quite abit here this morning. Woke me up but i like it though. I love the spound of heavy rain on my windows as well.
 
When I was a kid, I used to be terribly afraid of thunder and lightning. Whenever it stormed I thought a tornado would come and blow the house down or something. <_<

Now, though, I love it. I sometimes like to sit outside after the storm has passed, and watch the lightning in the distance or stand out on the porch during thunderstorms. I sometimes have to resist the urge to run out into the rain. XD
 
I love thunderstorms, especially at night. I love turning the lights off and watching the flashes. I absolutely hate being out in them though, especially when it's pouring rain.
 
I actually like the view of thunder from a distance. =/. As long as it's far away then I can handle it. It's really pretty to look at actually if you take the chance to do so.

The thunder that comes right after gives me a bit of a scare but it's not that bad. Especially if I am in the bed and about to fall asleep. It's really peaceful to me. And a nice rainfall. =D! Ahhh...
 
I love Thunder. When there is lots it so fun to see but you can get blinded! Anyways the sound is so cool and everything. But if your outside its like the end of everything XD
 
It's a really extraordinary site seeing lightning in full swing. Love watching it.

Don't mind being out in it either, if I'm heading home. Not scared of it, plus, I don't mind rain. Hate being in the rain when I'm going somewhere though, because clothes will be wet for ages after which is horrible. Way home though, not so bad, you can get changed soon as you get in.

Enough rambling...........I think it's cool as fuck.
 
Thunder as well as rain is relaxing to me. Lightening on the other hand makes me a bit nervous. One too many objects have been destroyed by lightening for my liking. I'm by no means afraid, just get a little ick feeling in my belly.
 
I'm like Synlea. I quite enjoy listening to rain and thunder, but the lightning makes me nervous. At least ground lightning does. I also hate it when it knocks out the power for hours like it did last night. -__- However when a big thunderstorm is rolling through with high winds, hail and threatening with possible tornadic activity that's when I get scared. Other than that, just a steady downpour of rain, some casual rolls of thunder and scattered sky lightning, I love it. It's theraputic.
 
Growing up in Western Washington, lightning storms were pretty rare - maybe one a summer - so they were kind of an event when they happened. So of course I loved them then.

Then I moved to Colorado, where there were two lightning storms a day in the summer. They got kinda old, especially if you got caught either driving in them, or playing golf in them. Our apartment building got struck three separate times too. Not good times. Now in North Carolina, it pretty similar to Colorado. Not as frequent, maybe 2 or 3 a week in the summer, but when they hit, they're usually pretty strong. And since the town I live in sits at sea level in a swamp, it floods pretty easily. More not good times.

All in all, I guess you could say I like lightning storms, just not the after effects.
 
I'm not a real fan of the rain unless I'm lying in bed falling asleep to it.

I much rather the sunny Sunshine State weather than the gloomy wet weather nonsense. <_<

I'll admit that thunder and lightening does make me nervous sometimes. I start to think 'what if the roof falls in or what if the lightening strikes a tree and it lands on my car?'

It isn't much fun for me. I used to get really freaked out when I was a kid listening to it. I couldn't even finish my dinner sometimes when a storm started brewing. Made me nervous and sick.

So yeah. Not a real fan. :gasp:
 
These posts remind me of Rikku in X when she got shit scared at the Thunder Plains. =P

But nah, I've always loved rainy days and waiting for thunder and lighting to flash/boom while looking out the window. I used to find it comforting, actually.

For some odd reason i find it easier to sleep during a strom don't asl why but i get a goodnight sleep when there is a good storm on :P
