Threads Of Fate Spinning Its Way To PlayStation Network

Square Enix producer and twitter addict Shinji Hashimoto has another PlayStation Classics announcement for Japan.

After collecting opinions from fans in Japan, Square Enix decided their next digital re-release will be Threads of Fate. That is, next after Final Fantasy IX which Japan gets on May 20.

No release date, but Threads of Fate, also known as Dewprism in Japan, is coming to PlayStation Network… someday.

Fuck yeah. I loved Threads of Fate, and I always end up playing it once a year, just because I found it to be a great game. I would recommend it to everyone to play. My only beef with the game was that it was too short, and that it should have had a sequel, but one was never made.

Awesome news. It'll be good to play this game again without having to get out my relic of a PS1. There was a new game plus mode if I remember correctly so I'll play the hell out of it.

Although... I'm not looking forward to playing Fancy Mel's minigames again. WHY DO WE HAVE TO COMPLETE THEM?!

That's the only thing I didn't like about that game. Those fucking mini-games on BOTH fucking playthroughs.

Yes, it did have a new game plus once you beat the game with both characters. Shit's awesome.
